“I don’t like it when anybody accuses other people of committing crimes.”
You mean like you did against Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and President Obama during the endless Benghazi/email hearings? This guy is a foul joke!
Well, I accuse you of being an un-circumised asshat, from the neck up, Howdy Gowdy.
Seriously, slap a condom on that head of yours…
This is a free country. You can say what you want to say
No, freedom is not unbounded. It always entails responsibility. Adults know it.
I truly hope those convenient freedom lovers will face grave consequences for doing what they call “freedom.”
Thank you.
Trey Gowdy is tres goofy!
"No, ma'am, the Congress doesn't investigate crime," Gowdy replied.
" I can’t tell ya how much time my committee hasn’t wasted on not investigating crimes " –
Thought GretaVS might be less of a partisan tool after leaving Fox. But these open ended questions give Gowdy plenty of room to really avoid any substantive criticism of his horse’s-ass president. I’m sure she didn’t really press him on anything either.
He’s a nauseating punk.
Wonderful! But this guy looks like Einstein compared to Howdy Gowdy…
*Offer excludes Whitewater, Troopergate, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Travelgate, Vince Foster, Juanita Broaddrick, Sidney Blumenthal, The Clinton Foundation, State Department emails, and Benghazi.
That’s why I wished to do photoshop…and make a condom explode on Gowdy’s head…
Wherein Matt Yglesias and Vox compare the mutual appreciation “feud” between Trump and the NYT to Wrestlemania.

Trump’s latest New York Times interview is a perfect example of his phony war with the press - A pro wrestling–style show feud for mutual benefit.
He’s now retreated to a smaller, but equally wild, charge that Susan Rice committed some kind of crime, and that this is the “real story” that people should be focused on. There is no evidence that this is true. And because there is no evidence that it’s true, presentation of the “controversy” had been largely confined to the dedicated ideological conservative media.
Both Haberman and Thrush are aware that there is no evidence to back up Trump’s charge against Rice. They are also both aware that Trump routinely says things that aren’t true, sometimes out of ignorance and sometimes in a deliberate effort to secure political advantage. Nonetheless, by shopping his charge in the venue of an exclusive interview with the Times, Trump succeeds in pushing his story deeper into the media mainstream.
And…the money quote.
A presidential interview is in many ways its own reward, but what’s particularly striking about Trump’s relationship with the mainstream press is the extent to which the pretense of an oppositional relationship with the White House has become a marketing tool.
Addendum:
Very Deep Sigh and Freddie Blassie says Haystack Calhoun is a fat MoFo who won’t have the championship belt for long.
This is the second or third time I’ve seen a sentence about surveillance unmasking structured this way at TPM - so this is not to single out Esme, other TPM writers have done it too - and it’s really pretty misleading:
Rice did not ask for the names of Trump staffers to be unmasked - she asked for the names of US citizens speaking to foreign agents under US surveillance to be unmasked.
Rice couldn’t even know that the names she requested to be unmasked were Trump staffers until after they’d been unmasked.
The way the sentence is written at top is Republican framing to suggest that Rice was specifically asking for a political purpose, rather than for the national security reasons that were her actual purpose and part of her expected duties.
So, please, TPM writers, stop phrasing Republican allegations in a way that makes it sound as if they have a legitimate grievance when they don’t.
I believe Susan Rice is currently a private citizen. Can any of the lawyers reading here tell us if she has a good case to sue the president for liable? It seems pretty clearly to me that is what he has done.
I have the feeling the lines at courthouses where people are filing to sue the Mango Mussolini will soon require Taco Trucks, cots, and Porta-Potties…
and bouncers.
When Gumby says stuff like this… it’s truly upsidedown world.
