Discussion: Gowdy: McCarthy's Apology For Benghazi Remark 'Doesn't Fix It'

"If I had one draft choice and I was starting a new country, I would draft Paul to run it."

And I would call it Somalia.

That’s quite a resemblance, I must say.

"The only thing you can say is, instead of listening to someone else’s words, why don’t you look at our actions?"

Translation: We can’t throw this in now. We still haven’t gotten the answers we want to hear and there are still people we haven’t asked yet. The beatings will continue until morale improves.

I would not be surprised if there are not some Congressional Democrats who are annoyed at Clinton and the Administration for putting them in this position by talking about his the murders came about before they knew the facts, and Clinton for keeping the private server. They are doing a better job with the Kunduz thing now, and if it wasn’t Benghazi, they wold find another reasons to peek up Clinton’s skirt.

And despite Democrats’ criticism of the committee’s work following McCarthy’s comments, Gowdy told the Post that he has good relationships with the Democrats on the Benghazi committee.

“I’ve never had a cross word with any of them. You’d be surprised what Democrats tell you privately versus publicly,” he said.

Trey, your aides tell the Dems what the GOP PC of the moment is every time those lib tards violate it.

And their silence towards you doesn’t show assent. It only shows they respect and honour your epistemic closure and will never speak of it again.

Trey Gowdy is just a two-bit pawn. He is a tool that is being used and scammed by John Boehner and Kevin McCarthy to further their ambitions. I feel sorry for Trey Gowdy because he doesn’t realize that. I suspect that he is a bit slow and has little between his ears since it took him 3 days to realize that Kevin McCarthy comments were relevant and dissed the little credibility he had.

No, but for what its worth Johnson and Johnson used him as the Q-tip model.

Paul Ryan, “super, super smart” because he actually read ATLAS SHRUGGED all the way to the end. Just awesome!

“People should go by what we’ve done. How many people have we interviewed? How many of those people have been named Clinton?"

“We’ve done stuff. Lotsa stuff. More stuff than you can imagine. How can you say we’re just politicizing an tragedy?”

“I don’t have a background in mental health, so I wouldn’t have the right qualifications to lead right now,” he told the Post.

You know we’re listening, right?

Nope. We already know what the GOP’ers say privately versus publicly, and what they say publicly is bad enough. Not a lot of credibility there, Gomer!

Mama still cuts it.

By “fix it”, he means destroy Hillary Clinton.
Party First! The GOP’s only motivation.

All they had were XXL, for the GOP base, and Trey’s a skinny little guy.

“We’re going to keep digging for dirt. I’m so excited, I must say!”

What’s Ed Grimley bitching about now?

Didn’t we just see the letter the Democrats sent criticizing the committee for trying to use the hearings to score political points? Who we going to believe, Gowdy or our lying eyes?

I don’t think it’s our eyes that are lying.
