Query: Did the ethics office ever sign off on Kevin McCarthy’s non-reporting of the appearance of nepotism in the awarding of nearly $8 million in no-bid contracts at China Lake and Lemoore bases to his “discriminated Cherokee” brother-in-law? Seems like the rules are pretty clear on this.

Of course he did. Just fucking look at him. The first word out of the doctor’s mouth when Ross was crowning was a visceral, uncontrollable, reflexive “LIAR!” and he’s been right about the little shit for something like 80 years.

Ross: “I am disgusted that we are discussing shares of stock worth approximately $3,700, an amount of cash that I would not stoop to pick up even if I were already down there tying my shoe.”

When Doris Kearns Goodwin gets around to writing her historical review of the Trump administration, the book will be called, “Team of Grifting Nit-Wits.”

While I am disappointed that my report was not certified, I remain committed to slow-playing the ethics office, filing yet another false or incomplete report next year and retiring to my villa on Malta in 2020.

I’m not sure they qualify as a team.

Maybe a lose, squirming mass?

What about all those Cypriot Banks that laundered money?

Ross continued: “Not that I would be tying my shoes. I have people for that.”

“When I joined the Department of Commerce, I agreed to divest many of my
financial interests. Among those were shares of BankUnited stock I was
awarded when I served as a director between 2009 and 2014. I directed
the sale of those shares in May 2017."
‘…and if I still accidentally retain these shares, and I implement policy that directly benefits BankUnited, and make sure regulations do not interfere with finance at the highest levels, well these are minor errors such as occur on a grocery bill or restaurant check, and have nothing to do with the wizened, shriveled thing that was my soul.’

Actually, yes. Wilbur arrived in Cyprus after the heyday of Russian money-laundering in 2012. Cyprus was a perfect entry point to EU banks, although it has since emerged that other small countries like Estonia got used for this purpose as well.

I bet he’s not this careless with his money-making schemes. No excuses. Criminal prosecution now. Hard to find it’s not a knowing failure after this many reports and all this time. He should have been checking this sale like a hawk given his agreement with the Ethics Office. That’s what anyone intending interested in complying would do,

not quite- Carl Icahn disappeared quite quickly from his paraCabinet post
He would have been even better.

$3700? Really? This is the kind of chump change he could lose in his sofa. Seems odd that they wouldn’t go publicize a more glaring COI.

When is someone going to introduce a resolution of impeachment?
