Discussion for article #236785
This man has replaced Ted Koppel as the man most resembling Alfred E. Neuman.
Look at the tentative 2016 GOP Primary Schedule:
Florida has been bumped to a later date than in past POTUS election cycles.Texas has been bumped up to Super Tuesday. The race may be over, for all practical purposes,by the time of the Florida primary.
We can’t ban those reporters and I might have to answer questions!
Excellent I own contracts on Predictit that this guy does not get the Republican nomination…
Did you know Jeb could lose Texas Prinary which has picked the Republican Nominee since 1980 ??..
Yes I do know that. Cruz is in. Perry might get in. Texas won’t be a gimme for JEB.
Ignore Florida residents in the primaries and they will ignore you in the general election, if you should be so lucky to win the nomination. Don’t you love how this rank opportunist and Koch puppet just rejects certain citizens out-of- hand just because they are not of any short term benefit to him? He really doesn’t understand how voters, especially Republican and Independents, expect to be be courted for their favor.
This is what comes from allowing corporations to buy elections.
He isn’t going to ignore Florida. Or skip the primary. That isn’t even close to what he is saying here.
Florida is THE state for the GOP in 2016. Every possible path to the White House starts and ends with them winning Florida. If they cannot, they won’t win the election. Its that simple.
That is part of the reason that Rubio is being treated like such a serious candidate by the republican media. They are courting him to be someone’s VP, in case Bush loses the nomination. But either way, one of them will be on the ticket next fall.
And Howdy Doody and Charlie McCarthy.
We in Florida will appreciate not having to listen to your Koch lies.
I’m sure he checked with the Koch Bros first, of course.
The neat thing about being around the country is that if we choose to get in, I don’t think there’s a state out there where we couldn’t play in, other than maybe Florida,
His inner six-year old thinks he’s going to a giant sandbox in Florida and will have a neat time playing.
I’m no ophthalmologist but I see one eye looking straight ahead and one eye looking to the right, and it creeps me out.
These jokers will try to out game each other and only enter primaries where they think they will win…making it unlikely that we’ll ever see the best competing head to head.
Nope. the “What, Me Worry?” award has been awarded to Piyush E Jindal in perpetuity.
If he gets the nomination, he’s considering only running for President in the states he thinks he can win. Therefore, those electoral votes won’t count against him…or something like that.
Yeah, doesn’t make any sense. He already is giving up on Florida (the third most populous state) because Jeb and Marco. By that logic, he should give up on Texas (the second most populous state) because of Perry and Cruz? How exactly is he expecting to gain the necessary delegates to win the Republican primary if he is already skipping out on 2 of the top 3 populous states? He must be expecting to gain ground in the Midwest states but you have Paul and Huckleberry vying for those delegates. Well, he does have a stupid face.
Cutting and running already, eh?
It will be Mittens & Rubio.
Mittens because they’ll never agree on any one in the current clown car for the top position; and, Rubio because the GOP has to win Florida or they lose. Bush’s name is toxic, so it’s Rubio by process of elimination.
That’s what we’re watching here, folks. Elimination!
