Good grief. Does the governor of Maryland really need the help of NJ state troopers? I mean NJ state troopers? Really?? This is what happens when you have a republican governor trying to be political for another republican governor. Maryland voters you can do better than this.

You donā€™t send state troopers to other states. You send the National Guard.

NJ troopers have some very menacing uniforms, they should fit right in.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this strikes me as incredibly bizarre. Is there any precedent for an action like thisā€“or perhaps more aptly any legal basis for it? This is more like a country sending token forces to a war between other countries. Or like a politically desperate thug letting the base know heā€™s just as law and order racist as they are.

Alll hail Chris Christie, saving us from the terrible scurge of Ebola, by illegally imprisoning a woman who served as a nurse from Maine returning to the USA through NJ, (a nurse who showed no symptoms of the virus ever, and never got sick), but Chris Christie stepped-in to save us all from that terribly frightening healthy nurse.

Now, Chris is on to saving Baltimore from a few hundred or a thousand houligans who did bad stuff to their city.
