I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say that I’m looking forward to the tweets from the Grabber in Chief that bash Neil Gorsuch.
We all know they’re coming.

Well then, you will do the right thing and withdraw your name for consideration in protest, right? Right? Right?
You know what? He’s a conservative, but I do think he believes in the constitution, so maybe he will. Nahhhh
Are we having fun yet?
Good for him
But this is a Dem putting this out there. Gorsuch just needs to say he was misquoted and distance himself from the quote. It even gives him a tiny bit of “independence” to use in the hearing. Of course, Trumpy may flip his many wigs anyway.
He’s a right wing lout trying to “humanize” himself.
Any moral person would withdraw, but he has crawled into bed with Trump, and is dirtier than dirt.
Don’t be fooled.
Good for the judge and let’s now wait and see if the Twitter King goes after him. Will Gorsuch withdraw his name now? Probably not but if he is attacked I think he will as he should. Trump doesn’t show respect to anyone even a branch of the government that equals his. The two most used words these days are “Trump attacks”.
It’s a confirmed quote, so research before you spout off.
Don’t want to hear from someone who said you said. I want to hear you say it. Out loud. Into a microphone. And even then I reserve the right to remain skeptical. You might just be saying this to curry favor to advance your ambitions.
Nah! You’re a Right Wing Christofascist Republican. I can trust you as far as I can dropkick an anvil in a swamp. Fillibuster the bastard.
SCOTUS should issue a statement signed by every justice saying exactly the same thing. This isn’t about politics. It’s about Precedent Bannon and his buffoonish aide, Comrade Coir Coif, denigrating an entire branch of government.
Indeed, I think every judge in America should sign on to it.
KAC, " I think what judge Gorusch was saying that the media attacks on President Trump are demoralizing and disenheartening to the majority of Americans who elected president trump in a landslide election and he thinks that these heinous attacks on President Trump should stop."
SCOTUS Candidate Go-Ruschia is not a Manchurian Candidate (much).
His fingers were probably crossed when he said that.
It’s more than disheartening and demoralizing. It’s disqualifying. Disqualifying for Trump, and disqualifying for anyone who comes to the Senate with his endorsement.
Mr. Von Holst has it right. I think he’s just about as demoralized as Paul Ryan and Jason Chaffetz, and he deserves the same treatment from the Resistance.
Geeze everybody … cut him a little slack —
He’s been a somewhat real judge for a long time …
After being drug along by the donnie train for a few more miles…
he’ll get his feet under im —
My comment had nothing to do with Gorsuch per se. It was about The Tweeter, and his complete and utter inability to show any restraint when someone criticizes him.
But Blumenthal has now put him in a position where he either has to deny or affirm.
He may also just try to hide and hope this blows over, but that won’t be easy. The press will be on it, as they already are – and other Democrats will use in their interviews with him, and they will, in turn, be in position to make their very own statements.
So I’d say Gorsuch is in a rough spot right now, and he must be intelligent enough to know he’d be putting himself in this spot, and offending Trump. So to me this story is very intriguing.
