A prefect image for the modern Republican party. They appear to be swirling down the big drain of history.

I remember when the GOP’s favorability was in the shitter back in 2009, but they really haven’t done anything since then for it to have gotten any higher. The electorate is fucking annoying.

It’s those bad numbers from self-described republicans that should scare them. The R’s who like trump are angry with their party for not supporting him sufficiently, and the rest I’d guess are angry with the party for their tepid half-assed embraces of him. It’s a bad year to be a GOP party man/woman I guess.

Could be wrong, and I know they seem un-democratic and Sen Sanders wants them buried, but this seems like the exact type of scenario that superdelegates exist to prevent in the Democratic party.

I’m not aware of any similar comparisons of GOP vs Democrat members of Congress.

All the popularity surveys of Congress have always seemed to lumped them together, which, in my view is unfair.

Keep up the good work, donnie!

I can’t wait for election day!

Hey donnie, can you say, blow out? It’s not just you I want gone. It’s all those do nothing gop/bag party hack lifers that think the senate is a place to go to die! Don’t they know that’s Florida?

Just imagine, Senator Ann Kirkpatrick of Arizona! Oh, and jony mc, FORMER senator from Arizona!

WOW! can’t wait.

Truck, how did you find a pic of a hole that looks like a flushing toilet? Or, was that a happy coincidence?

It’s perfect!

Go Donald! He’s doing his part to help.
Trump furious at RNC and campaign staff in disarray and floundering.

Tensions flare as the party hires a fired Trump aide and uses vendors linked to #NeverTrump, while fundraising flags.

‘Every time you turn around, he’s said something new. It’s impossible for us to keep up,’ one GOP lawmaker complains.’

Republican infighting is just a delight to watch:

I agree. It’s like the question, “Is the country going in the right or wrong direction?” Pollsters always interpret the response as a statement about the President, when if fact, it could be about Congress, the media, gun violence, or obesity.

The GOP is down to their unhinged base with that number. Go any lower and they are gone. I sense a sea change coming. Republican actions/non action is starting to take a bite out of them. The hate they have advocated/depended on has been turned on them. Let it be.

and…

Let’s see:
(1) Speaker of the House Ryan endorses Trump after calling him a racist.
(2) Trump University is a glaring fraud that Trump promises to continue at a later time.
(3) Trump attacks a sitting federal judge born in Indiana as “…a Mexican.”
(4) Trump gives himself high fives on the day of a mass murder.
(5) Trump accuses President Obama and Sec. Clinton of aiding ISIS and collaborating with terrorists.

Just yesterday: Trump: “They [GOP /RNC leadership] aren’t helping, folks. They aren’t helping. They can help or get out of my way. I may have to go it alone. I can go it alone.”

And all that in only the past couple of weeks! And those are only the major bits of insanity. How long can this go on? ___ Well, let’s just say the ubiquitous “they” aren’t ‘letting Trump be Trump’…“They” can’t do a fu*cking thing about it.
And …well, pass the popcorn. It’s only begun. ___ Go Hair Furor’!

If they would stick with their conservative values, true conservative values, they would be viewed favorable, they have become too liberal in their views. They need to return to family values such as sex only for procreation, do married couples really need a joint sleeping platform? Whats wrong with twin beds and sleeping with a full sleeping robe? And race mixing, doesn’t that just confuse children about their identity? Alcohol, marijuana and rock music let alone that african origin stuff the colored folk listen to, what good comes from it? Dont forget the police, why do you care if they come in your house, read your computer traffic and listen to your phone calls? If you not doing anything wrong why are you worried? The government knows whats good for us,we just have to get back to what my Pa said it was like before the great depression. This technology stuff will never last anyway, just another trend.

Obviously, the party is suffering because of the refusal of some lowly apparatchiks (McConnell, Ryan, e.g.) are refusing to support the nominee who won the most crushing primary victory in GOP history.
Nobody likes a party what won’t back a proven winner.

Thank dog!

If you do the norm and kick out the low and the high numbers, the crazies and the financially invested that is, the Repubs are at zero.

Of course the white priders and religious loons are with them. And the gun wackos still only have the ÂŽ Party to call home. The 1% is what makes the Repub Party work so they remain but middle of the road Repubs have no favorability of todays Party.

They are seeking asylum as Independents and there they shall staunchly remain until the foolishness fades.

The cross tabs are the real gut punch to the Republicans.
