Discussion for article #228882
Nobody gives a damn about this. And it’s so hypocritical: Oh yes, doctors can’t ask if you have a gun in your house, but strangers should ask whom you voted for?
Translation: “RWNJs announce that they recognize and are scared of the possibility that Nunn may actually be winning in Georgia.”
Sounds like they’re a little nervous about the latest poll results.
This is so stupid.
There are real issues affecting real people’s lives.
God, the GOP is desperate.
And stupid.
What? Michelle Nunn refused to respond to a campaign tracker that was harassing her? And there’s an edited video from said campaign tracker showing that this happened?
I suppose the only thing left for voters in Georgia to do is wait to see if Chuck Todd disqualifies Nunn from the race for this scandalous turn of events.
Right. I’d say it’s none of your f’n business, and let 'em chew on that.
Ha…good point. I bet Erick “The K is for K Street” Erickson is on the phone with Chuck Turd right now.
To be fair, I’d say the same thing, but we must admit that we’d only be feeding them an even better soundbite over which to foam at the mouth.
This “who did you vote for” idiocy is literally the least important issue in this election cycle. Focus on the real issues reporters (ISIS, health care, women’s issues, voting rights, climate change, to name a few).
Let’s see, she refused to join in your gotcha game so now you say, “gotcha!!”
GOP, please FOAD.
What all of these “I can’t say I voted for the black guy” candidates should reply with is “You certainly don’t think I voted for John McCain / Mitt Romney do you? There’s no way I could support a candidate who put the interests of billionaires above the rest of us, or XXX, YYY etc.” Turn it back on them and indict the other party. This is politics 101, don’t know why it seems to be so hard for them.
Also too: One might wonder if this is really more about their hate affair with Obama than it is about them thinking they’ve found themselves a gold nugget campaign winning argument against Grimes/Nunn. Think about it…what’s really going on here is that they’re gleeful that they’ve done such a good job defaming and defecating on Obama that they can point to evidence of their character assassination’s efficacy like his own Dems abandoning him as toxic to their campaigns. THAT is what has them stroking their tiny, spiteful little throbbers…not that they think this just won them an election contest.
Cue to Toady Todd…time to pony up some more deep analysis I guess. The GOTP has a live one they want you to bag for them again. How else do you think you’ll get access to these losers on your show if you don’t. Just think…how many more Dems can they get Toady Todd to help them “disqualify” on their behalf now? Your party is calling Chuckles. We all know its nothing but a gimmick, but it hasn’t stopped you so far, and you refuse to see your part in hyping this gimmicky bullshit from the get-go. Mr. Chief Enabler, wonder what you have to say for yourself now, you asshole.
Democracy is enabled by the secret ballot.
Maybe that’s why Republicans are against it.
That’s exactly right.
She had better have a better answer than Grimes. And folks here who don’t understand that are just whistling past the political graveyard. She could easily say what everyone knows-- “I’m a life long Georgia Democrat. I’ve always been for Georgia’s working families. While I was voting for Obama, Perdue was shipping Georgia jobs to low wage third world countries. And boasting about it.”
She’s a democrat.
She’s running as a democrat.
Do the,um, math. It’s hard, I know.
Exactly.
How many of them would have denied voting for Bush in late 2008? Oh wait, no one asked them.
That may work for Nunn, who does need to get out the black vote, but it sure as shit wouldn’t have worked for Grimes who has very little minority vote she can turn out. What would happen for both of them is their opponents running ad after ad with the candidate saying they voted for Obama. Very few people watch debates or would even know about a non-answer but most voters would see a TV ad in which the candidate admits to voting for scary black president who is scary.
