Discussion: GOPers Wave Off Trump's Escalating Threats To Mueller And Rosenstein

Attorney General has to be ratified by the Senate. Pruitt couldn’t get the Senate to ratify him as WH dog catcher.

But he could occupy the job on a temp basis, which is jacked up considering what a toady he is.

It’s not Feinstein’s call. An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at any particular point in time.* Nobody else’s opinion matters. Senators have a say in the matter when the House presents articles of impeachment to the Senate for trial, not before.

There is that.

Where’d you get that idea? It’s SDNY—that’s federal.

Hah. You beat me to it. Everyone now knows, thanks to Stormy, tRump likes to ride bareback, thus a paternity clause in all his NDAs, just for safe measure. The only precaution he takes is getting his thug lawyer to come up with those weaselly NDAs. Good to know, Mueller is on to him from every angle even if do-nothing Goopers refuse to be.

So, if someone asks me if the Parkland shooter committed murder, I should say I can’t answer that question, because the filing of criminal charges would be District Attorney’s call?

It’s like the game, walk the plank
With real pirates no less.

They really are traitors to the country, traitors to the Constitution, traitors to the rule of law, traitors to a government that functions for the vast majority of the country, traitors to any decency.

Appeals to reason won’t work. Trying to shame them won’t work. Vote them out in November.

(And hope some of them get indicted, too.)

Still waiting for a Republican in Congress to say, “If the president fires Mueller, or Rosenstein, I will support impeachment.”

When asked if he was concerned about a sneak attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese, Admiral McConnell responded, "“… I don’t think that’s going to happen.”

When asked if he was concerned about a potential meltdown of the Chernobyl nuclear plant, Orrin Hatch (head of Russia’s The State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM), responded, ‘I’m quite sure it won’t … unless there’s something really bad that happens.’

When asked if he was concerned that the Plains Indian tribe might possibly ambush the army at Little Big Horn, David Perdue (who could not recall the ““SHITHOLE NATIONS”” comment made by Trump -as he sat by his side) responded, “It’s time to end the Indian uprising." “This looks like an Indian uprising that’s spiraling out of control to me.”

For me personally, I think it is time for the Orange Terror to get scalped.

They confirmed him for EPA, even while he was embroiled in the email controversy back in OK. He’s a Koch plant so Rep. senate will do whatever they say.

I hate to be the one to say it BUT there are separation of powers concerns about one branch of government telling another branch how to conduct its business. That said, Trump knows nothing about that- or anything else in the Constitution. I think that most, if not all Republicans want Trump to pull the plug but don’t want to come out and say that.

It is now clear- Senate GOP Caucus = Unindicted co-conspirators.
