Orrin Hatch has outed himself as a liar and a fraud.
Whhaaaat? GOP senator caught in flagrant act of hypocrisy? Must be a day ending in a “y”.
Orrin: Always forward looking.
“Can’t nail this jello to the wall” said Senator Hatch as he left the building, goalposts twitching under his arm.
“[H]olding the confirmation process amid the clamor and commotion of the current presidential election would thrust Judge Garland into a punishing political gauntlet that is below the dignity of a Supreme Court nominee,” Hatch wrote.
I remember my Dad telling me he'd buy me a new Chrysler Cordoba, but the thought of me having to endure the constant smell of rich Corinthian leather was more than he could bear. Seemed legit.

Hatch started going senile some time ago and he’s close to being completely out of touch.
Ummm…he did that long ago, during the Iran-Contra Hearings and again during the Clarence Thomas Confirmation Travesty. He and Grassley are two of the most reptilian human beings ever to serve in the US Senate.
Shorter Orrin:
I’m as unstuck in time as I am in principles…
That pesky Liberal Media…taking blatantly false editorials written by lying Republicans and holding onto them until they “become true” and can be published…
It’s all Bran’s fault.
more like looking forward from behind…
So did the Deseret News…out itself as liars and frauds, I mean.
A GoT reference? Just the Google made my head hurt, I’m fantasied out 'cept for the classics. Come on, Sir Peter Jackson, where’s Dune?
Hodor…
Paul Edwards, executive editor of the Deseret News, called the publication of the op-ed an “unfortunate error” in statement emailed to TPM.
Or perhaps a short-timer in the web side of the house decided to “oops” the early publication to highlight the hypocrisy. “Light of day” and all that.
NAH! just SOP…
I’ve probably read the fantasy section dry, but never Dune…I dunno…I always tended more towards the high fantasy than sci-fi. I probably should at least read Dune though I suppose.
Now, who wants an explanation of why the entire story is Bran’s fault? mwahahaha…
A truly repellent excuse for an actual human being. A very punchable face, non?
I used to like how he and Leahy worked together… too bad those days are long gone.
