Yep. That’s a shameful ad. Reprehensible. Slimy, even.
Alas, it will probably be quite effective.
How disappointing. No film of Jon Ossoff decapitating anyone, or building bombs, or at a terrorist training camp, or kicking puppies or kitties. This ad may be too subtle for the voters of his district.
“Have you no sense of decency, Republican Party? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?”
Stupid question, I know.
Yes. The GOP is in control. But it’s a zombie empire. The GOP is dead. They truly have nothing of value left to contribute to political discourse. It’s a putrifying corpse of a political party and whatever movement you see is a consequence of carrion beetles, flesh flies and the venting and redistribution of decompositional gases.
This is what unlimited money in politics gets us - and Gorsuch is an exemplary supporter of that notion. Weaponized ignorance, racism and hatred specifically targeted and supported by unlimited dark money from out of state sources in any election, local, state or federal - welcome to the good ol’ USA circa 2017.
Ah. When you may be losing, play the terrorist boogeyman card. The repeal ObamaCare line is not really effective at this time.
Hope the Democrat has a more effective reponse than that statement. No one really reads those. He needs a good media ad.
Since this is allegedly a fairly educated district, the stoopid Al “Jezeera” piece won’t go very far.
In other words, he just lost the election because, yes, this shit works and Dems are too stupid and too spineless to combat it effectively.
The fact that they misspelled Al Jazeera makes the ad so much more effective.
“I’d like to personally thank the Republicans for reminding Georgia voters that despite all the their bluster, it was a Democratic President who finally got Osama bin Laden.”
Ad neutralized.
Yep.
The proper response is “The GOP is laughably slandering me as they actually serve as willing puppets of Vladimir Putin.”
Any Democrat who doesn’t place the word “comrade” in front of any Rethug’s name is doing it wrong.
“In a political landscape increasingly inundated with Fake News, the GOP recently generated it’s own. The real story is about hard hitting real investigative journalism, which we invite you to view here (insert web links to videos). Jon Ossoff has a record of searching for facts, reporting about facts, and will represent this district based on facts, and focused on the issues such as (list critical issues in this district) in Washington DC.”
Something like that might work, no?
As slimy as the ad is, I really hope that Ossoff’s campaign isn’t remotely surprised by this. Or have they forgotten another Georgia Democrat by the name of Max Cleland?
I love the smell of desperation in the morning…it smells like…victory!
Someone ought to inform the RNC that a Saudi national Al-Waleed bin Talal owns a few percent of 21 Century Fox which is the parent company of Fox News.
Additionally when candidate Ossoff did a documentary for Sky News, well they are
also part of the Murdoch empire.
Yet people keep voting for them…
That ad against Cleland was a Rovian low point. I remember some Republican at the time claimed Cleland “had no legs to stand on” Quite a telling metaphor for them.Sometimes you’d like to go General Sherman on them.
He’s campaigning his Ossoff.
