While I sympathise, and I donât have remotely the same problem over here to contend with, surely people should take on the task of talking politics with him?
I was in the US recently in a small town in California and had a reasoned discussion with a young married couple about the ACA. Their ignorance of facts was pretty astounding (the wife was more sympathetic I would say) but they both agreed they would look more widely at the issue.
I hope they did - her in particular; a nurse and a very thoughtful person who knew and agreed with the ER argument and the state of healthcare in the US.
