Ay carumba! I did Nazi that coming

Golly, if they are not alienated by now, they are not paying attention.

My analogy of the day is look both ways before crossing the street.

If only the GOP had some kind of…I don’t know…right to speak out. Or even if they had an obligation of some time to speak out when they believed something to be wrong.

"…Republican operatives worry that President Donald Trump’s recent immigration crusade, while red meat to his base, is alienating suburban women and other swing voters…

Sheesh, add in flouride, vaccines, gay guys touching their butts in the elevator and that Mexican gardener always ogling their wife and it's a wonder they leave the house in the morning.

This is what you get Republicans, for tying this millstone around your neck. Your years of playing along with Mayor McCheese just so you can push your weak tax cuts is going to back and bite you. You voted lockstep with this megalomaniac, but never stood up to him. Tuesday is Reckoning Day!

You’d first have to explain what ‘obligation’ means and what significance it has to the planet and all living beings. But be careful, you might get punched in the face if you explain it ‘too good’.

GOP campaign official told Politico. “We understand this is an issue that motivates his base"

Try and distance yourself all you want numbnuts. His base and your base are the same damn thing.

“Thoughts and Prayers” that all their fears come true

Gee, ya think?? To come to that conclusion on Nov. 2nd is nothing short of political malpractice (amongst other things).

Therefore, please proceed.

Welcome to hell, GOP

It seems having an undisciplined, insane man-baby as your candidate was just fine when it was winning elections; when it’s losing them, not so much.

(I presume Godwin’s Rule is still suspended for the duration)

The man went extreme demagogue over the last few weeks. Yeah, it is hard to tell the difference from past behavior, but the dial has been maxed. I am not sure if he can go any farther without slapping on a swastika arm band and growing a cheesy, little mustache.

That hit me between the eyes as well. The use of we our vs. his.

“The kind of voters Trump is talking to right now, there aren’t enough
of them in these areas to get us over the finish line,” a GOP campaign
official told Politico. “We understand this is an issue that motivates
his base, but the economic issues are what we really need to win these
swing voters because they are who’s going to decide who controls the
House,”

Their fissures are showing.

It’s gonna suck to be a R on Wednesday morning but they brought it on themselves.

And then we can tell them that elections have consequences— like everyone has been saying for the last two years (which have been the longest two years in history).

Maybe this is the pivot we’ve been waiting for, he’s just going in the wrong direction?
