Discussion for article #229157
I hope the Dems pound him with taped history on this.
Why wasn’t Hagan in the debate? Tillis is trying to sell a bullshit sandwich to the voters.
Too little, too late. Hagan wins.
So does this mean he now opposes repealing the ACA?
Since Tillis led the fight against expanding Medicaid, this rings hollow—especially since NC wouldn’t have to spend a dime on the expansion for 3 years, and then would only have to cover 5% of the cost of the expansion.
Tillis is a professional liar.
There’s no other way to say it.
Pissing off conservatives to woo moderates probably won’t work.
Of course not. Didn’t you hear Kasich yesterday? Medicaid expansion is totally not Obamacare. An entirely separate thing. Completely different. No connection at all.
A carefully staged little “debate” against a candidate who doesn’t matter. Tillis retunes his image and message for those who are normally inclined to vote Republican and male, but who have been previously put off by this particular candidate, without a challenge from his real opponent.
