Discussion: GOPer Says Abortion Bill Will Result In 'A Few More Little Taxpayers Born'

Discussion for article #235012

You know what is guaranteed to reduce the number of abortions? Making sure people have living wages, access to adequate medical care, and a good standard of living.

What is guaranteed to not reduce the number of abortions- restriction on access. That just leads to an increase in medical costs, infections, infertility and funerals.

This lady is a walking contradiction, alright.

“Little taxpayers”??? Seriously??? She wants to tax children on their wages? Or are those taxes on their allowance they get from their parents? What IRS form do they have to fill out for that? How early are children able to enter the workforce?

Oh well, She’s probably already voted to gut her State’s education funding, thinking all children will learn more working “out in the real world” than in a classroom.

Mommy! Make some more babies so the Gubmint can take more of our money!

The state’s textile mills, underage children working not being educated, the woman’s only telling us she read Dickens.

So if the advantage to a longer waiting period is for women to have more competent care, then what has actually changed? Will more abortion providers be made available who are better than the one’s available under the 24-hour limit? In states where abortion providers have been slashed to one clinic, where does this new improved care (now with competence!) come from?

I think all the textile mills have gone to El Salvador or Cambodia.

I was gonna say “She seems nice” but she’s so contradictory that I’ll just say …Yikes!

It’s probably too late to encourage larger families by letting people earn enough money to feel comfortable enough to have another child or two. That helps explain why GOP political freaks are trying to force the issue.

If she really wanted to reduce abortion she’d push a bill making birth control free and readily available across her state. But she’s an asshole, so she won’t do that.

Oh, the very idea of little anchor-baby taxpayers! The dilemma between being anti-abortion and anti-immigration is just more than my little brain can handle! What to do!!! What to think!!! Lets just make a quick end to this unwanted and unintended conundrum. How dare you rape my thoughts! There should be no exceptions!

John Edwards talked frequently about his father working in a mill. Alas, it was not the work Norma Rae did but in an office.

The ones who have been led to believe they are part of the 1% think they will need ignorant, sickly folks who are hungry and will work for the ‘company store’ doing dirty work in the gated compounds.

TeaXian Family Values--------worthless.

“What we’re trying to do is make her care competent.”

LOL. More GOP/Teatroll logic fail.

Teatroll Rosetta Stone: “her care is resulting in informed, private adult decisions I don’t like, which means it must be incompetent.”

“There’s no effort here to try to restrict a woman’s right to have an abortion,” she told WRAL. “What we’re trying to do is make her care competent.”

BS. Waiting periods have nothing to do with quality of care, and everything to do with making it harder on people with limited funds to obtain abortions. They’re already down to about two abortion clinics in the entire state, and I think one of those is way out in the western part of NC. So a good many people would have drives of several hours to get to a clinic in the first place. And they they’re supposed to either turn around and drive several hours back home, and then make that round trip again three days later, or put up in a motel for several days. That ain’t cheap, and that’s exactly the point.

I don’t wonder that these guys hate government regulation, because they seem convinced that the only real purpose of regulation is to make life harder on people you don’t approve of.

What if those little taxpayers are gay?

LMAO! Teabaggers couldn’t be competent at washing their hair even after reading the instructions on the shampoo bottle.

Only if contradiction is a synonym for lying-sack-of-shit.
