I don’t see that much difference between what Bush did in Iraq and what Obama did in Libya - though I grant that Obama did it without killing 4000 American troops. In both cases, we took out a horrible dictator who was mistreating his own people but not particularly messing with us - and at the cost of killing thousands of innocent civilians, creating chaos in the country, and empowering Muslim extremists - not to mention the refuge crisis now engulfing Europe.

Well, the whole circus, despite Gowdy’s laughable opening statement, was nakedly an attempt to take down Hillary Clinton and it failed abysmally, leaving Trey Gowdy and his pack of moron hyenas with egg all over their faces. This farce only strengthens Secretary Clinton.

Or that the people of Libya were actually in the process of revolting against Gaddafi when we got involved, unlike in Iraq, which was relatively stable before the US invasion.

Yes, I agree Gaddaffi was a brutal dictator and a psychotic killer. But is Libya better off? Ask the Libyans - especially the thousands now in Italy. I don’t remember boatloads of Libyans dying in the Mediterranean when Gaddaffi was in power. By your logic, Bush was right to invade Iraq - Saddam was ha horrible dictator too. Not to mention that Gaddiffi was about to crush Islamic extremists in Benghazi - and we stopped him.
