Discussion: GOPer On Obama's ISIS Plan: 'Denounce It If It Goes Bad, Praise It' If It Works

Discussion for article #227437

“A lot of people would like to stay on the sideline and say, ‘Just bomb the place and tell us about it later…”

I guess we’re supposed to just file this one under “Why can’t Obama lead?”

We like the path we’re on now. We can denounce it if it goes bad, and praise it if it goes well and ask what took him so long

‘’…and right after that, we’re gonna release the GOP blueprint for a national healthcare plan…’’

GOPer: We’ll Denounce Obama’s ISIS Plan If It Goes Bad, Ignore IT If It Goes Well.

There, fixed it for ya.

Talk about leading from behind …

I used to cover Jack Kingston when he was in the Georgia Legislature. To put it politely, he was not the brightest of fellows then either.

“Kingston will retire next year from Congress after he failed to secure the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Georgia in a runoff election.”

Can you really call it “retiring” when the guy lost?

This reminds me of Lucy and the football in the Peanuts comic series. Getting Charlie Brown to believe she will hold the ball for him to kick, then ALWAYS pulling it away when the point of no return is reached.

Rethuglicants and their tea Potty friends will ALWAYS hate that black man that they constantly claim can do not good, only evil. This will never change.

We see this time and time again. If something works, WHY didn’t he do it sooner? Why is he taking credit for someone else’s work (when he doesn’t)??, etc.

Sick phuqs.

Republicans don’t want to change anything. We like the path we’re on now. We can denounce it if it goes bad, and praise it if it goes well and ask what took him so long."

This has been part of the GOPs playbook for the past 6 years. Time and time again. Yet the “liberal” media still pretends the GOP is a serious party that is interested in helping the people and wring their hands wondering why Obama can’t work with them.

I mean, could Kingston have been any clearer??? Hello???

Not the brightest bulb on the GOP tree. But can’t understand why people vote for a nut case like this.

TACTICS FOR EFFECTIVE CONSERVATIVE BLOGGING By Karl Rove
The questions need not be relevant. The goal is to knock the Liberal poster off their game, and seize control of the narrative

Once you have control you can direct the narrative to where you want it to go, which is always away from letting the Liberal make their point. Conversely, do not respond to their leading questions. Don’t rise to their bait. Contain Your job is to prevent the presentation and spread of Liberal viewpoints.

Intended consequence…It’s so easy to manipulate dumbButts.

ISIS is just plain hype at any rate so I agree with Kingston, wait for the fireworks. For the record, Obama’s past moves defies allowing himself, to be pulled into a no-win fight.

ISIS is no real threat to America like Kingston and the GOP.

I think that’s Broun … an equally ridiculous buffoon.

You can call it retirement if you receive a big fat retirement check
when you leave.

Country first.

I see where some Congressmen who lose their primaries resign. And they don’t leave town at a Trot either.

Actually, littlegirlblue, that was the brilliant Paul Broun. Kingston lost the runoff for Senate, while Broun and fellow crackpot U.S. Rep. Phil Gingrey didn’t make the runoff.

Incidentally, Broun will be replaced in his heavily Republican district by a talk radio host/Baptist minister named Jody Hice, who’s written Islam “does not deserve First Amendment protection” because it’s not a religion, and is best known for challenging the IRS’ right to tax political organizations that masquerade as Christian.

We, uhm, don’t have the best educational system here in Georgia.
