Mr Moore, treating your neighbors with respect would mean not demanding to control who they can marry and who they cannot. If you really believe in freedom and smaller government then stay they hell out of your neighbor’s relationships and bedroom.

So, apparently, the Christian way of life includes telling other people how to live theirs. See if I’ve got this right. We can’t use the government to systematically address issues of poverty and illness, because that would take away the Christians’ opportunity to display their charity and get into hebben. But we can use it to systematically deny homosexuals the opportunity to display their righteousness, because OMG GAY SEX ICK ICK ICK. Is that it?

I’m pretty fucking sure that “I should get special treatment and advantages that you don’t because you’re less than me” fails every definition of love and respect anyone has ever come up with.

Fantastic that they dumped him. He is right though - it’s still on platform. I wonder about the faith of these hysterical Xtians whose marriages and religions are so easily DESTROYED by gay people merely existing.
We believe in treating them with respect. But…we’re not about to go so far as to treat them equally.
