Well she doesn’t want to live in her parents house trying to pay her way through life as a part-time harp tutor anymore. Isn’t that enough of a reason to run for Congress?

Repeal is unpopular, and they can only replace the Democrats’ policy with the conservative one which turns out to be same thing in this situation.

I’ll never understand their steadfast refusal to participate in enacting the ACA.

I wish that she would’ve been asked that. You don’t want to keep the ACA, and you don’t want to replace it with another version . So how to you plan to fulfill the needs of all those people that now have health insurance due to the ACA?

GOP women–Can’t live with them, can’t repeal and replace them, can’t have a government takeover, can’t believe economists analysis.

Um, until the voters actually find out what it is.

There is a simple solution-get rid of Obamacare and keep the ACA.

“I don’t think you have to force everyone. I think you allow for the expansion of a market, and encourage everyone to find the option that best suits their need,”

Fucking nonsense. Things like Medicare and Medicaid and the minimum wage and the 40 hour work week and the department of labor and the department of education and the department of environmental protection, etc. etc. et-fucking-cetera, all came about BECAUSE THE “FREE MARKET” FAILED FOR DECADES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT CERTAIN ISSUES. Period. The existence of such programs and agencies is simultaneously a result of and proof that the entire bullshit free market ideology will NOT and does NOT work in the expansive, build-it-and-they-will-come, if-demand-then-someone-will-meet-it, trickle-down manner these shit-for-brains ideological zealots posit the economy and business works. We have at least a century of it failing to debunk the whole fucking thing and the only reason we’re still forced to hear about it is because nobody in the MSM has the goddamn balls to call out the lying and stop lying about it themselves. It’s not a “good counterpoint” or a “legitimate position.” It does not require “serious debate” or “thoughtful consideration of both sides.” It should be a dead fucking issue at this point, but they keep it alive deliberately so they have two sides to talk about and keep you agitated while sensationalizing a fake controversy. There are no magical flying unicorns. There is no economic pixie dust. Wealthy, landed business owners will not fart rainbows and jobs if we cut their taxes by destroying public programs. There is ONLY (a) the way things were in a free market, (b) what we had to do to fix it and © GOP/Teatrolls promising that if we take away what we did to fix it, the free market will something something for no apparent reason, without any explanation and with no clear mechanism do it better this time and not cause the same problem all over again.

Well, that and Zuul. There is only Zuul.

The “conservative” (read: rational conservative) alternative to Obamacare looks just like…

…Obamacare.

This presents a problem for them.

She’s running to be my Representative, and I can truly say that assessing her as a potential government leader, she makes a good harp teacher.

And besides, what is this “allow for the expansion of a market” crap? The market exists. 45,000,000 people had no health insurance and, ergo, no access to efficient, efficacious medical care and treatment. That’s about 1/6 of the fucking population of the entire country. Don’t tell me there was no market, that there was no demand among those 45M people, that somehow something something the gov’t was preventing insurance companies from accessing that market and carving it up amongst themselves. The insurance industry DID NOT WANT THEM AS CUSTOMERS. They were UNDESIRABLES and DELIBERATELY EXCLUDED because the insurance industry did not consider them to be a viable market. The ONLY way to “allow for expansion of the market” was to FORCE the industry to accept those 45M as a market, telling them “you have to fucking insure these people” while telling those people “you have to insure yourself.” The gov’t stepped in and CREATED this market. It didn’t “get out of its way.”

“Garcia has repeatedly dodged getting into specifics on Obamcare.”

Well, you could replace the name Garcia with that of any other GOP congressman or candidate, and this description would still fit perfectly

Yes but she has the “Sarah Palin” appeal among her voters, if you know what I mean.

No one ever said she was smart.

Goodness. do you mean that some of her appeal could be coming from somewhere else? Perish the thought!
