Another Sarah Palin wannabe…
Hopefully Braley can remind the good people of Iowa that Ernst will be allied with the folks who derailed the farm bill last year. You know, the “good” kind of pork.
Washington DC is full of shit. Unfortunately for Joni Ernst, it is the Republicans that are doing most of the shitting.
“It’s time to stop spending money we don’t have and balance the budget,”
Damn right, Joni! First we’ll start with those wasteful farm subsidies that pig farmers are bleeding us dry over and then we’ll start with Social Security and Medicare!
Joni?..Joni?
It’ll be overflowing with pig shit if she’s sent there.
I’m tempted to say that it’s all from Republicans, but that would be an insult to pigs.
Wandered across an Iowa Senate ad and an SNL skit broke out.
one of the primary suppliers of the pig shit is her buddy, Chuckles A$$ley
“…It’s time to stop spending money we don’t have…”
Agreed. So elect Democrats.
Republicans fiscal mismanagement has driven the country into huge debt, and cost most homeowners tens of thousands of dollars. Now Republicans want to default on our obligations and wreck the credit of this country for a generation.
Don’t trust the economy to Republicans.
Well, what do you expect when you’ve got 50+ rural red state Teatroll morons who, when asked to remove their shit-covered jackboots before entering the congressional chambers, start screaming like ninnies about government oppression?
Joni Ernst oinks:
“…It’s time to stop spending money we don’t have…”
It’s clear that she’s so effing stupid she doesn’t know that the US controls its own currency, and therefore cannot ever be in the position of not having money.
And there is no inherent benefit to balancing the federal budget, either.
This country has been without a national debt only once in its history—in the 1830s—and we’ve managed to scrape by and win a couple of world wars, get out of the Great Depression, and build a modern infrastructure on borrowed money.
Why does the GOP always assume that average Americans are as stupid as Republicans are?
And she’s just another lipsticked pig who wants to wallow in it.
To be fair, they are consistently proven right.
If that is the level of thought the good people want, they deserve her. This country no longer has the attention span for thoughtful responses; well-thought-out discussions are too long, too painful, and … other stuff.
Iowa, you’re so much better than this. You’re too good for a pig obsessed, crazy person in a hilariously bad wig she stole from the high school drama club. I have faith in you because I gotta believe you know you deserve better.
And now there’s this little “slip-up” from Joni Oinker:
“It’s time to stop spending money we don’t have and balance the budget,” Ernst said.
We don’t have a “spending” problem - we have an “income” problem. And economic illiterates such as Ms Ernst make the issue worse.
Tax revenue incomes are too low. Period.
Do the math: Stop ALL federal spending (military, state dept, all congressional salaries. all fed employee salaries, all highway & food stamp spending, FEMA, etc - STOP ALL OF IT.
Then use 100% of tax revenues to pay down the debt. Using 100% of tax revenues it would take 40+ years to be debt free.
And those tax revenues will be cut by more than half after the fed spending stops - with all those folks out of work and not paying income taxes anymore. Plan on 80+ years to be debt free.
Not to mention the total decimation of US & world economies from the lack of spending.
There IS NO WAY to reduce the debt without serious tax revenue INCREASES. All we working folks have already been squeezed dry over 3 decades so it’s gotta come from somewhere else.
Hey, wait a minute, that pig has…Ebola!
Says the piggy who snuffles for truffles under David Koch’s desk…
