Dems don’t feel energetic enough to vote.

Sad but true.

She’d be pummeled in a Presidential year.

I just don’t get it. VOTE, people. VOTE!!

Iowa, PLEASE send this phony packing!

Unfortunately, they love her. Just like they love Grassley. Oy.

I’m sure Iowa is not going to fall for a castigator! Surely, they all know better!

this articles confirms Ernst can get away with the most bat
shit crazy things just as long as she seems nice about it,  it also confirms Braley is an awful and
feckless candidate.  This election shouldn’t
be even close

Pro-life, but anti-healthcare. Someone explain this to me.

Weren’t they having that discussion?

Beware the two-faced vulture, it will pick at your guts while it smiles at your face.

Weak, Braley, weak. You should have taken the opportunity to hit her with the chair.

“There would be certain exceptions but again it’s something that has to be discussed,”

no, it isn’t, unless it’s the subject of discussion of the lady’s sunday ice cream and social club meeting. aside from that, no one has any reason, especially not someone actually in a position to be considering an abortion, to give two nanny-goat shits what joni Ernst thinks about it, or anyone else (aside from their physician) for that matter. I’m not required to respect her’s, or anyone else’s opinion on the subject, unless they are giving the option thought. in that case, it still isn’t any of my, or anyone else’s business, not even ms. Ernst’s.

there is no constitutional right to have your opinion respected, by anyone, and I refuse to be sucked into that inane position, that I should “respect the forced birther’s opinion, even though I don’t agree with it.” bullshit, I neither agree with it, nor do I respect it, beyond them having a 1A right to express it.

Every day she gets more and more unhinged. If the good people of Iowa are so dumb as to elect her to the United States Senate that will really, really test the truth of Churchill’s dictum that democracy is the worst form of government except for every other form.

“but refused to specify exactly what those exceptions would be.”

In other words, “elect me first then I will tell you what my plans are.” SPOP (Standard Pubbie Operating Procedure)

I take it you have not been to Iowa recently?
The clueless shitkickers and born-again-pig-stickers dominate the political scene there. The ONLY thing you hear on the radio is Reich-Wing nut-jobs and the out-state population have devolved into xenophobic assholes.
It didn’t used to be this way. It was pretty much an Eisenhower-Republican State up until Ronnie Raygun got anointed and the Born-Againers started recruiting in the state.
It’s been all downhill from there.
