Discussion: GOPer Accused Of Pushing Seth Rich Conspiracy At Fox: Lawsuit Is 'Nonsense'

Butowsky and Scaramucci have more than a passing acquaintance with each other. At the beginning of the Trump administration there were reports Butowsky, in his own words, was contemplating the purchase of Skybridge Capital. The unspoken impetus, other than pure business, was freeing up Scaramucci for a slot in the administration.
Trump and his crew are so dirty it’s probably difficult to comprehend, save for the most dogged team of lawyers and prosecutors. Pulling any thread leads to a dozen others.

Did you see me saying that he was bright? I certainly didn’t mean to suggest that.

Special pleading from a special needs Faux commenter/GOP financier. Seven ways to rich :stuck_out_tongue:

“Ed Butowsky,”

Bwah-hah-hah-hah!

Did not meet or have contact with the WH but talked with Spicer…ok then.

The real problem is that liberals have no sense of humor.

Central Casting must be very busy finding these dopey half-wits with cheap suits to throw on Fox and just pull unbelievable (except by the Deplorables!) tales out of their asses!

This guy really doesn’t have a felony conviction in his past? I bet he does.

With a name like Butowsky, he must have had a brutal childhood with his pals.

Folks, would you buy a used card from Lying Ed?

Comes off as a real arrogant A-hole!

The JK defense is getting a lot of wear these days-
we just heard it about 45’s call for police violence.

claims that Trump read the article and wanted it published quickly. Butowsky said this was “tongue-in-cheek.”

Ah, those jokesters, so funny! A joke for every conversation. Their tummies must hurt from all the laughing.

The blood-thirsty St. Albans Lipsticks…

I’m betting Fox settles this before the discovery phase. If not, pass the popcorn cause we are all going to learn a little about what passes for journalistic integrity at Fox.

Every defendant in every lawsuit says the suit is “nonsense.” It is to be expected. I don’t know how far this lawsuit is going to go, but I find the actions of this guy and Fox News to be despicable. A promising young man was murdered. His family was in mourning and these conservative dicks do what conservative dicks always do, try to turn the tragedy to their advantage.

You didn’t.

If the guy bringing the suit has the goods it will be one hell of a mess. If I read this right what’s being alleged is a collusion between FOX and the highest levels of Government to sling lies, what they knew to be false, about a dead man to deflect from POTUS’s troubles. If the plaintiff can bring that case it will spawn sequels all over the place.

So the White House had nothing to do with it… then talks about his meeting with White House press secretary to loop them in on it months before they go with the bullshit CT story.

Um, ok.

When I heard about this story I thought of Benghazi too. Remember when the family of the slain Libyan ambassador was begging the Republicans to quit using the memory of Christopher Stevens to advance their conspiracy theory?
