Since he’s clearly insane, I wouldn’t discount the possibility that he would use some crisis (traceable to his actions, undoubtedly) as a precept to declare martial law and suspend Habeas Corpus. The military would likely rebel and then we’d have civil war. No, milquetoast GOPers, you wouldn’t restrain this lunatic in any meaningful way.
