. This place has enough creepy old men
“Give me a break. This place has enough creepy old men,” Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) told Politico on Thursday.
And yet, here you are, enabling them with your votes and succor.
“Give me a break. This place has enough creepy old men,” Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) told Politico on Thursday.
That’s the kind of Senate comity I can get behind.
“Give me a break. This place has enough creepy old men,” Truer words never spoken…
As Moore, an accused child molester, announced his bid on Thursday, Senate Republicans across the leadership ranks dumped on the former Alabama judge, who was twice kicked off the bench for ethics violations, including for issuing an order not to give out same-sex marriage licenses.
If Moore is the GOP nominee for Senate every goddamned Republican Senator will explicitly or implicitly support him in the election. We have a foxhole, they have a foxhole. You don't make your own stand outside the foxhole.

Gee whiz. You get accused of sexual assault or inappropriate behavior one or two or (checks notes) uh, nine times and you never hear the end of it.
Why? Because you lost. Ted Cruz is as creepy as Moore, but he won. It’s not that you’re creepy and have terrible ideas. It’s because you lost.
I’m not suggesting that anyone contribute to help the Judge.
“Moore’s announcement puts him in a crowded primary field. Rep. Bradley Byrne (R-AL) and former Auburn Coach Tommy Tuberville are already running and Rep. Gary Palmer (R-AL) has said he was mulling the possibility.”

Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL) said he’s communicated with former Attorney General Jeff Sessions about running for his former seat, one of the few possible candidates considered to have enough support to beat out Moore. Sessions has given no indication that he’s considering or would take on the role.
I wonder if Sessions remembers how his former colleagues in the Senate threw him under the bus when Trump tried to oust him from his position for being a non meddling AG? Their lack of support for Sessions was deafening.
Can Moore be beaten in a primary with more than one other candidate?
His lack of humanity surpassed only by his lack of self-awareness.
Typical Sen. Sally McSally, taking the easiest stand in the world…without naming names.
Other tough stands she has taken: Vets good. Enemies bad. Military good. Terrorists bad. Govt support for senior citizens good. Taxes bad.
Maybe Byrne can beat him, but I ait sure about Tuberville.
FIFY!
And this is coming from Martha McSally who was appointed barely six months ago. Creepy old men must work at light-speed in Washington. Names please, other than Trump. That much we know.
Speaking of which, why is Moore so objectionable while Trump gets a pass? Probably because Moore committed the cardinal sin of losing to a Democrat in Alabama, not because of the alleged pedophilia.
Further proof Republicans really don’t believe in States Rights. Here you have non-Southerners dictating to the South once again.
Let the people of Alabama decide.
