Sometimes cynicism is just perception tinged with memory of that relentless parade of blows to the head the Republicans have wrought. It was utterly clear from the tally Mitch gave out exactly 12 hall passes on this yesterday.
You mean the one that passed 92-4 with every single R voting for it? Ah, come on now. That is practically ancient history, you know, back when America stopped being great. Now that America is great again, who needs those silly sanctions.
