What a man of principal. He attended a town hall meeting to tell the folks back home in Arkansas and to his supprise he found that they may not vote for him if he supports the RyanTrumpCare bill.
So now he wants it to look like he is a defender of the party standing on his principals of expanding access to health care for all. What a man! It is even hard to believe he is a Republican.
âI would say to my friends in the House of Representatives with whom I serve, do not walk the plank and vote for a bill that cannot pass the Senate and then have to face the consequences of that vote.â
I wonder if Cotton ever considered the reciprocal possibility that his friends in the Senate with whom he serves may be walking the plank if they vote against a bill that had passed the House and then have to face the consequences of that vote.
If people havenât figured out that everything republicans do ends in benefits for the rich, they are not very intelligent. This bill is a huge gift to the rich and corporations.
Now now now Tommy (Please lose the beard it only makes you look like a juvenile trying to be an adult) have you no faith in the absolute stupidity of the base of the Republican party that has saddled this country with a minimum of four years of horror? They wonât care what you idiots do they will still vote for you! Look round the countryâŚsay Kansas⌠where the moronic Governor bankrupted the state and still got reelected in the midst of destroying the state! Brilliant! So have no fear Tommy, your legions of selfish moronic yahoo⌠Pennsytukians⌠can be counted on to be sure and vote against their own best interests every time. Oh Iâm sorry Iâm supposed to be learning to understand the racist hate mongers and why they donât like me! Itâs all my fault for not reducing myself to their hateful idiocy sorry! Iâll try to do better.
The MediaÂŽ need a suggestion box for questions that journalists should be asking.
Would he want his friends to walk that plank for a bill which he felt could pass? Some friend.
Is passing the Senate a tipping point between walking the plank and some happier metaphor TBD? How arrogant.
Why wonât it pass the Senate? Is it full of bad ideas? Is it full of great ideas, but 49 other Senators and the Vice President donât see them?
What has to change to help it pass? Who supports these changes? I donât think he knows.
