Discussion: GOP Sen.: Those Calling For Pruitt's Resignation 'Nitpick Little Things'

I often wonder these days if some critical mass of hypocrisy will occur and I physically won’t be able to take it any more. I live on the planet Earth and I know hypocrisy exists, and catch myself in it at times. But I don’t see it as a social and political strategy for myself. The magnification of it now, and the seeming pride and power that these fucks feel when exercising their hypocrisy, creates a new level of hell.

High crimes & misdemeanors… not nitpicking.

they’re not real popular policies with a lot of people

Wow, ya think?

Besides spending all the taxpayer dollars on frivolous BS, that’s reason enough to can his sorry ass.

Despite my reservations with Chuck Todd, he seems to be finally asking the right questions here.
Related: although I do not watch Fox News, the Ed Henry interview with Pruitt is almost salaciously scandalous for FoxNews

These are the kind of people that the dipshit has picked for key posts in the EPA

So far, though, Pruitt has yet to create new regulations that would outlast his tenure or Trump’s, or to rescind any of the regulations Obama created. He’s only been able to delay a few that were already on hold before he took office

The Republican Congress refuses to provide a check on all of this corruption. The so what attitude of this guy is what campaign ads can be built around. The Dems need to take that issue and run with it all the way to November. Republicans do not care about abuse of taxpayer money.

I was looking for detail on this? Any specifics.

Ethics violations, destruction of the EPA’s enforcement ability are nitpicking little things.
Got it… but if so why is trump saying Pruitt is doing a fantastic job if all he is accomplishing are nit picking little things?
Jes askin’.

If anyone in Obama’s cabinet had done these things - this fool would have been calling for an execution by firing squad - televised on pay-per-view!

I totally agree. Corruption on a scale not seen in this country maybe ever. The Democrats need to run on it and hit it hard.

The campaign speeches and ads write themselves: $x amount of money to go to Disneyland, $x amount of money to build a cone of silence for his office, $x amount of money to fly first class everywhere…These are your tax dollars! This is your hard earned money this billionaire is spending to fly all over the country and the world on sight seeing trips that you can’t afford to take because he has spent your money!

If protecting the environment—because that’s the job of the fucking Environmental Protection Agency—and being a public servant who isn’t cartoonishly corrupt are “little things,” then I suppose people are nitpicking little things. But they aren’t and they’re not, and with all due respect, fuck you.

That’s a better ad for a campaign right there than I constructed.

He thinks it’s a little thing to do his job.

Didn’t think we would ever reach the point where there are no Republicans I would piss on if they were on fire. In the past, there were always one or two I would piss on…
