Discussion: GOP Sen. Says He Opposes Trump's Call For Muslim Ban After Orlando Shooting

Translation - Johnson is worried he will lose.

Looks like even a functioning moron can realize he’s stepped in shit too many times for Donald Trump. But I expect tomorrow Ronnie will roll over and lick Donnie’s pea-sized balls like the good little Pound Puppy he is!

Still supporting the nominee, though…

Is this the example of the blind nut finding a squirrel?

Let’s see. I categorically oppose Trump’s call to ban Muslims because I think it makes America and the World less safe.

Just like I said on another tread, Republicans don’t want terrorism stopped. An afraid base is a voting base, so all is good. But I really, really hate terrorism…nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

No–it’s a opportunist trying to appear rational after a national tragedy.

Still, Johnson has pledged to support the Republican nominee in the general election…

So you attempt to wash the stink of Trump off yourself in order to desperately get re-elected won’t wash.

Go fuck yourself gently with a chainsaw.

Bader also asked why Johnson’s statement following the attacks did not mention the LGBT community, according to the Milwaukee Journal. Johnson said all that mattered was that the victims were Americans, but he also was quick to call it a hate crime.

He can’t say this was a hate crime against LGBT people because his beliefs and that of his supporters parallel that of the terrorist. This time it was radical Islamism, next time it may well be radical Christianity.

Johnson was one of two Senators that didn’t vote on the terrorist watchlist gun control legislation last December. I wonder if he’ll weigh in with his support or opposition to such legislation before this November.

[Edit: So far all he has said with regards to any new gun control manners is to point out that ‘bombs kill people’ as well. Lat time I checked most forms of ‘bombs’ were illegal in Wisconsin, including the fireworks people drive to Minnesota to buy for the Fourth of July. I look forward to hearing Johnson’s plans on how we can make bombs more accessible, for freedom and stuff…]

Man, this guy is really feeling a vise closing on his balls, which were very small to begin with.

I disagree with the idea that he called it a hate crime.

He called it a hate crime by robbing the phrase of its intention. It was the equivalent of saying “All lives matter” when someone says Black Lives matter.

Did the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel interview Feingold? Why not? Johnson’s toast…

“The best way to prevent the homegrown-inspired attacks is literally positive engagement with Muslim communities,” …uh huh. You sure didn’t ‘believe’ this until you were losing in your state, didya now?

It won’t save your ass, Ron.

Feingold 2016.

Does it count if the chain is off?

“When you slaughter Americans, I don’t care what their background is, every American citizen has a constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” Johnson said according to the paper. “This is a hate crime. This is murder.”

Not so, Ron. The vast majority of right-wingers and, especially, evangelicals will tell you that this slaughter was the will of god. This slaughter was brought upon these people because America has a Muslim President who hates his country. This slaughter is all about justice for the holy crime of homosexuality. You’ve clearly never read the memo. You’re now spouting blasphemy and it’s the surest sign that you’ll no longer be welcomed in the so-called “big tent” the GOP loves to say it has. Way too little, way too late.
