Kirk, however, is the exact amount of bigotry and racism for Illinois.

So, heā€™s telling all Illinois Republicans to stay home on election day. Awesome!!

Iā€™m from Illinois. This will help, but heā€™s cooked if he withholds from Hillary. And this is one of those years when the statewide-Democrat isnā€™t a hack who was too crooked for the Chicago party to keep to itself. Tammy will bury him.

Is it wrong that Iā€™m actually enjoying this election year? I mean, Iā€™m really freaking loving this.

It wonā€™t save you, Mark. Youā€™re doomed.

Illinois GOP: No reason to vote for Kirk. He must have rapist blood in him.

So Kirkā€™s plan is to go it alone? He wonā€™t support Clinton and he wonā€™t support Trump, so he is running on a platform of returning to Congress to not work with either Presidential candidate? Yeah, more gridlock is just what the voters wantā€¦

"I do not support Hillary Clinton, and I told the public that I did not support Donald Trump, either.

Sorry guys, but this isnā€™t a tenable position. Itā€™s for one and against the other. There is no ā€œdonā€™t blame meā€ option. I know that a lot of us would like to have that, but itā€™s not responsible governing.

But maybe if he keeps yelling about how much he doesnā€™t like Trump long enough, people will forget about what he did during the first five years of his term? Maybe he could temporarily bravely declare his support some moderate-sounding policies, just during the election season? OK. Maybe that wouldnā€™t be too convincing.

GOP Sen. Mark Kirk: Trump too openly bigoted and racist for GOP Southern Strategy.

In the 2010 race it became apparent that Kirk is a petty liar, more or less of the Paul Ryan type and scale. He had the good fotune to be running against a thief. {Though, to be fair, it was never shown that his opponent personally made those loans to Rezco, et. al.}

ā€œI do not support Hillary Clinton, and I told the public that I did not support Donald Trump, either. I think heā€™s too bigoted and racist for the Land of Lincoln,ā€

and so who are you voting for Senator?

Rauner is now a ā€˜fence sitterā€™

Quick flashback:

ā€œDonald Trump is kind of a riverboat gamble,ā€ ā€œHe won the Illinois primary, in this case we have seen the Republican vote up and the Democratic vote down, so it looks like itā€™s a net benefit.ā€

Thanks for posting Kirkā€™s own words. Too many folks are fooled by his recent ā€œreasonableā€ positions (adopted purely in the hopes of preserving his seat) and forget who Kirk REALLY is.

Or even the first few months of this year, when he DID support Trump.

I look forward to hearing Trumpā€™s nickname for Mark Kirk.

And as predicted, though ahead of schedule by a few monthsā€¦GOP Senate candidates are actually running AGAINST their Presidential nominee. By August, ads will be airing in these battleground Senate seats against Trumpā€¦paid for by GOP PACs and candidates.
