We see you Heller. All hat no cattle. The GOP in action.

Shut the hell up you disgusting coward, Heller. You aren’t even qualified to call yourself an American with that giant yellow streak that runs down the middle of your back and spreads out behind you wherever you go like a massive slug fouling everyone around you with your unnatural spinelessness.

The political acumen is impressive. Waits until Trunp hits the worst approval rating of a sitting President in Gallup history… then announces he voted for him.

Good job.

(golf clap)

College Republicans/Young Republicans across the country are infested with Pepe bros, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis.

The College Republicans have been a breeding ground for odious, sleazy ratfuckers for decades. The stories of the dirty tricks they’ve waged on each other in their elections just presage what they’ve done after college.

Here’s just a partial list of past notable CRs:
Jack Abramoff
Lee Atwater
Patrick McHenry
Grover Norquist
Ralph E. Reed, Jr.
Karl Rove
Rick Santorum
Roger Stone

Heller is one of the most comically inept politicians I’ve seen in quite a while.

He’s trying to outflank his new primary challenger (Danny Tarkanian). Not so much poor political acumen as running out of gambits. He’s really, really screwed.

Since he’s about my age, there would have been no draft for him to dodge.

I believe this squares with the motto of the Republicans…

“Party before country.”

Heart of a lion, that one.

Buh bye Heller, you’re toast.

The RNC looks on that as a feature, not a bug.

I suspect Heller - whose approval rating in Nevada is currently 18 percent - might have thought that he could improve his popularity by tying himself more closely to someone with 36% approval.

As noted above, Heller is not a particularly bright man.

Very! I also like antisachetdethe’s “Tiki Rager” comment!
May have to borrow that one.

I went to college at a notoriously liberal school, in a liberal state with almost entirely moderate Republicans (where the moderate R governor gave a dull commencement address to our graduating class), and the College Republicans there were like this 20 years ago.

Heller is more afraid of Trump/GOP primarying him than he is of his constituents. He would have had a hard time winning even if he stood strong against Trump, but now he is dead man walking category. My guess is he is hoping for a right wing gig, doing anything with a paycheck.

Blue state college Republicans are worse because they chafe under the tyrannical expectation of tolerance. Case in point: Stephen Miller.

When you know you’re toast and you’re only option is the fury of the base to possibly drag you over the finish line.

I Doubt they’ll have a problem with that.
But be sure to hat-tip your Maximus or Antisachetdethe.
We’ll all be here all week, unless there’s a Snark Holiday.
Not much chance of that with El Bufon.
