“There were so many things involved in the 2016 campaign it’s hard to point to what one thing influenced voters.”
Not so hard to point to what one thing influenced the candidate, though, is it?
“The President is an international businessman. I’m not surprised he was doing international business.”
So’s the gentleman pictured below. Not every international exchange of value is legal or ethical, Johnnie.
Barrasso shrugs at a conflict of interest, or at the very least, the appearance of a conflict of interest for the Republican nominee for President of the United States. Where are the damned tax returns, Donnie??
Notice how the dumbest Senators defend Trump in the dumbest non sequiturial ways.
GOP enabler who votes in line with trumpp’s position 93.7% of the time says “Whatever.”
GOP Sen. Barrasso Shrugs: ‘Not Surprised’ Trump Was ‘Doing International Business’
Shrugs
Shrugs
Shrugs
Shrugs
Shrugs
Shrugs
Shrugs
and that is the problem…
Every time McConnell is at the microphone, Barrasso and Thune stand in silence behind him like cardboard cutouts.
It says more about GOP supporters.
I’m not surprised either.
But that’s not the issue.
Wouldn’t it be nice if someone pointed that out in the media?
Like directly in this bozos face?
Nothing seems to surprise or alarm the Rethugs, he’s a businessman. That’s one way to look at it but you don’t have any concerns he might not be an honest businessman? That maybe what he was doing was totally dishonest and not legal.
I love that image! Pence and all the rest, all the same.
There’s no proof they aren’t cardboard cutouts. I see no sign of life.
OK, if that is the case with Russia, why lie about it?
That was basically my response as well. I am not surprised either. I just think the implications are far more troublesome than, apparently, the Senator does. (Of course, I also won’t be surprised when Mueller serves the indictment against Trump and his son. I wonder if the Senator will be surprised by that.)
Everyone, literally everyone, can see where this is headed, and that is Trump is guilty of everything…every single allegation, no matter how ludicrous it may have seemed at one time. Barrasso would have been much wiser to have hedged and said he would make no comment while the investigation is still active.
I hope @Inversion bookmarks this too because this comment by Barrasso will not age well.
My question, if that is all copasetic, is why lie then?
