I believe she will, too. Hassan is a strong candidate, who has won convincing state wide elections already. Ayotte is increasingly vulnerable, and is one I suspect will be tossed out of the camp and left to fend for herself. This certainly isn’t going to encourage McConnell to open up the republican Senate piggy bank for her.

Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) is using the “Doomed Senator Reelection Handbook”. Why should NH voters elect a fake Democrat when they can elect a real one? Ayotte will lose at least as many Republican votes as she picks up Dem and Independent votes. I hope her unremarkable term ends soon.
This is exactly what did in the Blue Dogs too. How they thought acting Republican would get them Republican votes when the Republicans would just vote for an actual Republican and not a Democrat acting like a Republican was beyond me.
It’s like the opening song of “Damn Yankees”, called “Six Months Out of Every Year”, but we’ve retitled it, “One Year Out of Every Six”!
