Discussion: GOP Reps. Request Perjury Investigation Into Hillary Clinton

Chaffetz said in the Comey hearing last Tuesday that the FBI would have the request by “the end of the day”.

If Chaffetz was a Democrat, there would be a hearing on why the request took a week and whether or not that was perjury…

Keep fishing with explosives, Chafe-Itch & Mal-Latte. When dumb people use explosives, bad things happen to them.

But she lied, and forced me to agree with this loathsome toad.

Finally: An American leader brave enough to take on the Clintons! I have been waiting patiently for 24 years for somebody to investigate these people.

Jason Chaffetz = COURAGE!!!

So, this is going to be the Clinton Impeachment Part 2 scenario if she becomes president.

Has an Atwater-Stone-Gingrichian stench about it.

Again: “Idle hands are the devil’s playthings.”

Couldn’t these Republicans find decent jobs or something to occupy their time, to help keep them out of mischief?

What was the lie? She said she didn’t send anything classified, and it’s clear that the marking system for anything that was determined to be classified was sketchy at best (eg, classified or confidential?). The idea that she was slinging around top secret info that could threaten national security is pretty ridiculous, considering the FBI conclusion.

Are they the Republicans going to start a investigation also into Patraeus and his very serious security breaches over the phone and if not, why not?
If you don’t think any investigation by a Special House/Senate committee is needed, explain why not!

“Petraeus’ security breaches much worse than Clinton’s, FBI chief says”

Part of the perjury law is “…willfully and contrary to such oath states or subscribes any material matter which [s]he does not believe to be true.” There’s no likelihood the FBI could make a case for perjury. This is a political game.

Probably not - they’ve reached their level of incompetence.

Exactly the head-up-the-butt attitude that has got the nation where it is today.

I need to make contributions to the DSCC and DCCC so that we can get the nation moving again.

“This is a political game.”

Ya think?

Last week:

Rep A: Mr Comey, did Secretary Clinton commit perjury?
Comey: No
Rep A: Are you sure?
Comey: Yes, she did not commit perjury
Rep B: Positive?
Comey: Yup.
Rep C through Z : Oh come on, Are you really really really sure?
Comey: Yes, now STFU

This week:
It was perjury!

There have always been political games as long as there has been politics.

However, GOPers have become so hamhanded and unsubtle with the Game that it’s likely to backfire (IMO).
