I suppose it was inevitable…
The fear is strong with the GOP, even as it realizes that ramming through an anti-people agenda won’t be easy for a single second of this administration.
Oh no you didn’t!
It’s OK Ron , we know where you live , and when the next election is.
Besides that .
Who was trying to get on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg?
Inquiring minds want to know
This asshole has the nerve to call the Mueller and Congressional Russia-Trump Investigations “fishing expeditions” after sitting on the GOP Run Committee on Oversight and Government Reform (Chaiffetz’s Permanent Inquisitorial Fishing Expedition) and the Foreign Affairs Committee, which spawned the Benghazi Fishing Expedition.
Also, according to Wikipedia
On January 29, 2014, DeSantis introduced into the House the Faithful Execution of the Law Act of 2014 (H.R. 3973; 113th Congress), a bill that would direct the United States Department of Justice to report to the United States Congress whenever any federal agency refrains from enforcing laws or regulations for any reason. In the report, the government would have to explain why it had decided not to enforce that law.
Not that rank hypocrisy in the Dixiecrat -GOP is surprising anymore, but still, the fucking nerve of this asshole.
Isn’t DeSantos one of the Florida Republicans Debby Wasserman Schultz protected a few years ago.
No money left! Used it all up on Benghazi! Sorry!
I wonder what he wants hidden? Anyone? Anyone? Mueller??
Another one who looks good on paper* - Yale BA magna, Harvard Law - but shit-for-brains.
- See Cotton, Thomas, eg.
Please proceed. The bill won’t pass the Senate at least.
I’m guessing this is a cynical attempt from big Rubio ally to inoculate himself from being primaried. The good news: His district is quite winnable for a Democratic - R+7.
Despite his reputation as not being a fruitcake, he’s taken quite a few fruitcake position. In the utter and total hypocrisy department, he also proposed legislation for Justice Department to spend more money investigating which laws Obama supposedly wasn’t enforcing.
DeSantis is an asshole, but he’s District 6–FL’s asshole looking to become a national asscrack.
No, please Mr. DeSantis, lobby for your proposal. Get lots of support out there on the table. Clarify the scope of the investigation for us. In fact, require Mr. Mueller to publicly identify the topics and persons of interest and the exact status of the evidence against them, and let the American people decide what their representatives should do.
Go on. I dare you.
At this point, my presumption (rebuttable, but it’s the starting place) is kompromat rather than raw partisanship or stupidity.
The outcome of the Mueller investegation is going to be devastating for these asshole apologists…they are fine enabling a madman who is divisive and ignorant…it is obvious our future is in jeopardy as long as the current mentality in Congress is deemed acceptable.Term limits Now!
Am I the only one wondering if DeSantis is in the peepee video?
The NY Times will publish that Trump talked directly to DeSantis about this in 3…2…1…
Who was trying to get on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg?
Don’t know thier names, but pretty sure they were card-carrying GOP members at least, and likely GOP Congress people. And donnie-“What iceberg? There’s no such thing as icebergs, believe me!”-trump was captain.
@ncsteve Ooh, ooh, ooh! Ya think? C’mon,Steve, dish! What could such a red, white and blue-blooded defender of motherhood and apple pie have done to get his dick in the wringer?
@jakebarnes Jeez, what an evil-minded bunch we got here.
Yeah, let’s get every GOPer on the record who’s whistling past the graveyard. Make my day.
Will help in targeting campaign money.
DeSantis is running for governor.
Rick Scott is running for Bill Nelson’s Senate seat, and he’s two points down right now.
