Grothman is an awful, awful person and, not so coincidentally, the personification of the Wisconsin Republican id. If heās in the spotlight, it should undo anything voter ID does for them.
Well, everyone knows that the purpose of voter ID laws is to suppress the vote of groups that typically vote Democratic. The only difference now is that Republicans arenāt even bothering to deny it anymore.
in other wordsā¦ we rigged the game as well as we couldā¦ weāre hoping it disenfranchised 300000 potential Democratic votersā¦
elections have consequences and weāre making sure we donāt squander our opportunityā¦
Does anyone need anymore proof that every new voter ID law is really about voter suppression.
We have known this from the start. It is very frustration that more is not being done about it.
These puny republiCANTS are just thatā¦puny and so insecure in their own skin!
Well, that Voter ID law sure worked to keep that GOP stooge on their Supreme Courtā¦
Apparently, everybody but the Liberal Media is in on the secret.
Voter suppression is the main reason I cannot vote for a single Republican candidate, even locally. There are other reasons such as gun safety and the minimum wage, but their anti-American voter suppression should give anyone pause before he or she votes for a Republican.
If the people can not vote the elected government does not have to represent them.
SCOTUS: Voter suppression is perfectly legal.
Tea Party: Itās our right and is as authentic as American Pie.
Greetings from Pennsylvania!
Turzai: Voter ID Will Allow Romney to Win Pa.
Iām confused. Is he one of the unnamed ācriticsā cited by the MSM who claim voter id laws are really just a ploy to suppress the Democratic vote?
Whoād oā thunk it?
That this comment isnāt a national scandal tells us just how far American politics has descended into hell. The notion that one party would actively and openly craft the voting laws to suppress voting is a sign that America is no longer a beacon of hope.
#When you can beat emāā¦cheat emā!

"I think Hillary Clinton is about the weakest candidate the Democrats have ever put up. And now we have photo ID, and I think photo ID is going to make a little bit of a difference as well," Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-WI), a supporter of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), told Milwaukee television station TMJ4 when asked how either Cruz or Donald Trump could win in November.
You a dumb man, there, Glenn. The Republicans are itching for a race with a socialist. The only thing they canāt seem to gain on Sanders is the draw of white voters. That photo ID comment was just a rare brain burp*.
*A brain burn to a Republican is the equivalent of telling the truth.
Yes DO school us on weak ācandidatesā. We all know not ONE of you would have been elected in Wisconsin if you hadnāt a)rigged the elections and then b)installed you pet people in office to validate your āriggedā elections. A real circle jerk right Glenn?
Hillary is a āweak candidateā?? Hoo boy! OK fellah, wait until the general election then when a lot of republicans panic at the thought of Prez Trump and pull the lever for HRC. Add to that most all democrats get off the cough and vote. My estimate is
Hillary 65-70%
Trump 30-35%
My fantasy, as Iāve posted before, is Trump loses.every.last.electoral.college.voteā¦ in the worst beating at the polls since our republic was founded.
What a country we have become with the Republicans and money controlling us.
We talk about all the people voting in Iraq and Afghanistanā¦while at the same time the Republicans push to make voting in the US harder and inconvenient so that we end up with one of the lowest voter populations of any Democracy.
Republicans and their Billionaire owners hate Democracy.
