Hmmmm…wondered when the rumbling would start.

Freedumb Caucus sees an opportunity? Let the infighting intensify.

Amash also criticized President Donald Trump and Ryan for giving Republicans talking points to use during the House recess.

“When we go home for the weekend, they give us a set of talking points. They say ‘here are your talking points,’” he said at the town hall, per CNN. “That’s not the way you’re supposed to represent a community.”

LOL. I love to see this. Please spill more tea, Amash!

As for Ryan, I seriously doubt he’s going anywhere anytime soon.

Good luck with that. It was the Freedom Caucasians’ complaining that led to the milquetoast Speaker they have now. Unless you could anthropomorphize kicking poor people, I don’t think you could get 218 Republicans to vote for anyone.

Yes son, (patting him on the head) giving you talking points for the weekend is exactly how a unified party works. It is how a unified party gets most of its agenda enacted when you have the House, Senate and the White House. It has worked for centuries.

This got me curious how many FY17 appropriations have passed, halfway through the fiscal year. At zero, Rumpublicans are right on pace for another manufactured crisis.

I certainly have no use for this ace in the hole from Michigan or anyone else from the rich white man’s freedom caucus. But the so-called moderates who helped kill Rumpcare should change parties and elect Pelosi Speaker. She knows that the House is not an episode of the Bachelor, and that stuff gets done by quietly wrangling together a disparate coalition, behind the scenes.

You don’t hear much about the “Hastert Rule” anymore. I simply can’t imagine why.

How galling! How can he represent Fox News and the Kock bros interests properly if anyone else gives him talking points?

Ryan must go. As Chair of the Republican National Convention, Ryan was responsible for the giving the gilt-edged invitations with ringside seats to Russian intelligence so that they could meet with Trump, Cuck Kushner, Jeff Sessions, Mike Flynn and others. Ryan is a pretty face and has big muscles but is incompetent. Ryan has authored fewer bills than Kevin McCarthy who has named two post offices.

Now wait a minute,
#1 You plan on meeting with your constituents, face to face?
I’ve never ever had that opportunity. We get telephone town halls, and they cherry pick the questioners.
#2 They give you an actual list?
Well that must be Paul because Trump doesn’t write, think, or have the same thought from moment to moment. And if you guys get a list how come Trump’s cabinet doesn’t know about being on the same page?
#3 Don’t you Freedom Caucus have a manifesto or something?
Aren’t those talking points?

edit: Sorry don’t mean to shout in #3

Constituents of Wisconsin’s First District need to give Ryan a new Direction in the 2018! Thank the smirking lout for his service and move on!

Unseat smirking Ryan 2018, the cocksure misanthrope!

No, of course not. Ryan isn’t going anywhere- but hopefully he will be gutted like a carp, in full view of the world, left weakened and ineffectual. Also hoping for enough fratricidal infighting that whatever R-sap that does replace him will be presiding over bitter wreckage.

Who will be irked enough to leak those talking points? Would be fun to compare statements at town halls in response to constituents’ questions.

And figuratively it sounds like Amash is stocking up on rotten bananas in preparation for a massive food fight among the GOP in the House.

Can you imagine one Republican member of the House complaining when St Ronnie of Raygun gave them talking points for the weekend?

Should we send the Democrats popcorn? Will they have enough popcorn to last them through this shit?

I rarely find myself agreeing with any republican, but paul ryan is a very weak speaker . . . . even worse than john boehner. While ryan may be what passes for a policy genius in republican circles, out here in the real world he appears to be a really dim bulb. It’s time for him to go.

I nominate Louie Gohmert. Having a real Papa Smurf as Speaker would be just AWESOME!

In fairness, much has been said that St. Ronnie wouldn’t even get elected in the gerrymandered world brought in with tea party in 2010!

I disagree. Right now, intellectually(snicker), Ryan IS Louie Gohmert, and if we had someone other than Ryan there would be a danger that the wonderful circular sniping would cease. The GOP has sown and I want to be sure they reap, and reap, and reap…

What about Bannon? He has truly demonstrated that he knows how to boss these wavering Republicans around, right? Anyway, needs change of scenery now that he has seen the executive from the very top!
