Looks like a pretty shitty rolling job if you ask me.

And BTW, was he on the warpath or was he actually supporting the idea that someone doesn’t deserve 5 years in federal prison for smoking a joint on the corner?

His position was against whatever the position of Obama is. That’s the definition of the job of a Republican in Congress.

Is there still weed you could smoke a whole joint of? I doubt it. That delivery system is a bit dated for today’s hyper-potent shit.

Perhaps a news website should mention that in the story?

Joints are for shake, I.E. party circles but yes, shake is better than the stuff (some of us) used back in the day. The concentrations are (top shelf) superb these days, agreed and a single puff, lasts an entire evening.

More to the point, is he (the GOPer) berating or siding with more lax rules (take pot off schedule one)?

“Rep. Waves Fake Joint”

That’s a typo. It should read, “Fake Rep. Waves Joint”.

So, John Mica is knowingly employing drug users… Isn’t that a crime?

Faux joint for a faux problem.

He’s holding it like it’s gonna bite him.

I think so. Do interns get drug tested? Members sure ought to get tested. I have sneaking suspicion that they indulge since so damned little gets done around the House these days. (snark)

Not so dated Dave-- but a blindered supposition.
Who sez the you gotta’ finish it in one sitting?

Variety is still the spice…

Is he one of the representatives who endorsed drug testing for Food Stamp or other “welfare” recipients? These guys really need to get their talking points straight.

Like a typical Repuke…when he finally figures out how much revenue the State of CO is making off their totally legal and taxed weed, and is projected to make going forward, he’ll be sure to change his mind no matter whether he thinks pot is good or bad, right or wrong. Immoral and reprehensible people like Mica ultimately don’t make moral and sane decisions to cloud their already deranged way of thinking anyway.

If there’s money in them there hills, he’ll be all for it, as will the rest of these rightwing “free-market” mouseketeers. All in good time.

Pot—it’ what’s for dinner. Like the new gold rush…Politicians will eventually all find their way on board…just like they did with casino gambling, when they threw out their supposed high and lofty morals in favor of the invariable and lucrative cash-cow.

Isn’t DC a haven for pot and other drugs much like Wall Street? Frankly, I think politicians and interns alike still have much of their affinity towards powder cocaine…I may be wrong though.

I was gonna say the same thing, however, I was going to use the word “Shoddy” rolling job.

Also, it interesting how something that is so funny, has been used to screw over millions of people in the last 40 years.

I am sure all the people who have spent time in jail, lost jobs, had their kids taken away, been raided by the DEA, had their dogs shot, been denied government benefits, etc… will join in the laughter.

Hilarious.

You know what I think would be uproarious? If the drug warriors had to face South Africa style truth and reconciliation hearings for all the lives they have harmed over marijuana.

Now THAT would be funny.

Hmmm. His staff members have more experience. Weed isn’t legal in FLA yet. He hires staffers who are criminals.

Oh yeah! Stop bogarting. Pass that doobie.

Wait. What?
