I believe youâre thinking of âparoleâ, not âcreditâ, Congressweasel. Credit only countâs for time served.
Uh oh. I done a woopsie.
What credit does one get for releasing information just ahead of its publication in the NY Times?
He released the info you smug motherfucker, because the NYT called him to tell him they were publishing the email chain and would he care to comment. Junior said âlet me get back to you,â and then rushed to Twitter to publish and claim âtransparency.â
Iâm stunned how many GOP reps* are willing to step in front of this train. Just say âI am concerned, but thatâs for the blah blah investigative committee/independent investigation to look intoâ and run. You donât have to say anything more than that. You idiot. You idiotic idiot.
.* and itâs all been members of the House; the universal silence of the GOP Senate is deafening
So, from ancient republican senators we get innefectual pearl clutching. From the people in a position to impeach, we get this pathetic defensive pap.
Iâd love to be optimistic but I donât see what it would take to actually damage this menace irreparably.
This is all so kindergarten.
Hey, I know you guys are really swamped, what with trying to take away our healthcare and all, but if you could take a few minutes to draw up articles of impeachment, that would be greeeeaaaaat (channeling my inner Office Space).
Heâs hoping admitting he has a huuge big aw shit doesnât wipe out all his atta boys.
Weâve moved into a very dangerous time. While it may have been a bridge too far to expect Republicans en masse to express shock, dismay and concern at what appears to be damning evidence of the kindling of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, toadying, prevaricating support by elected officials for this illegal behavior is simply awful. Remember that Republicans have expected a thud when the smoking gun finally found its way into public evidence. Each has a choice: to step up the political war in support of Trump, or give up the ghost and do the right thing for the country. Thereâs still time.
Credit for spinning a cover up? This guy needs his head examined.
How much does anyone want to bet this isnât even the whole email exchange - it looks so obviously cobbled together. Perhaps the playbook is release part of the email exchange and then cry âfake newsâ at the NYT when they publish the real email chain.
This is EXACTLY the right wing mentality - projection - they are guilty of falsifying emails? Then blame the media and Dems of what you actually DID.
You have to give Chris Stewart credit - this is sort of like trying to put a positive spin on some incurable and fatal disease.
La commedia è finita, you jackass. The time is long gone when you could imagine that covering for the Trump administration would be rewarded by his base, and everything would work out. Itâs over. So just stop.
Well, it does save Mueller having to issue a subpoena for this document, but Iâm sure he is preparing, if he has not already issued, subpoenas for docs from Jr. and a whole bunch of others. But Iâm guessing he already had this particular information. If the NYT could get it, Mueller could get it.
Credit? For what? Realizing the Russians were about to release them themselves.
Yes, weâll put a Big Gold Star on his Big Empty Forehead!
How fucking stupid ARE these people?! Is it REALLY possible to be that far up FoxNewsâ ass?!
Are we STILL grading the drumphs on a curve?
âSorry about that cancer thing, honey, but your clothes fit so much better!â
