Reed and the rest know that this collusion issue it’s all FUBAR, It’s just that nobody wants to be the one that breaks it to the Trumptards. One of these days one of them is going to crack and we will see a deluge of denunciations.

O good god - what was the point of this, Reed? Your denial wasn’t even very good.

Well, you know, I’ll defer to whether Paul Manafort thought that was correct or not

PROTIP: deferring to convicted felons on what is and is not ethical is generally considered a bad idea.

“It depends really on the definition. I mean what does collusion really mean? Is it ‘secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy, especially in order to cheat or deceive others’? I can’t really say.”

I think this is correct. GOP members of Congress are, quite unsurprisingly, a bunch of followers. Somebody else hurry up and rip off this bandaid so we can get back to regular old Paul Ryan unethical, not sell-the-country-to-the-Russians unethical.

Again – none of this matters to any of them because anything was worth making sure Hillary Clinton didn’t become President – anything, including Treason.

Sorry to break it to you guys – “but her e-mails” isn’t a viable defense in a court of law.

“Reeds” are inherently designed to bend.

This tRump-ologist is no different.

Definitely trying to triangulate. One of the most moderate GOP reps, he voted for the Dems rule package. His district was a battleground in 08 and 12, Trump won it by 15%. Pretty sure he knows its bad, he is stuck between keeping his seat and his dignity.

What is going to take, millions to arrive in DC to get the point across?

I’m finding the redaction “accident” happening on the same day as one of Trump’s biggest attention getting headline shaping events of his presidency rather curious. Almost like they wanted the media distracted when the truth came out, and the truth out in advance of any report from Mueller so that when Mueller confirms the collusion the complicit GOP and Fox can shrug and say “So? We’ve known that for months. Nothing to see here.”

This guy is the cannon fodder to the distraction/diminishment plan.

Earlier rounds of Manafort news/responses - were about how short a time and limited role he had played in the campaign. Sort of like 3 steps above the coffee boy.

Rick Santorum’s response earlier today and this - give a new tone - as if a new theme is being rolled out. And it’s one that put’s tread marks all over Manafort’s back from the truck running back and forth over him. Not that he doesn’t deserve it. But back to the theme… it’s the “lone wolf” excuse.

What still bothers me since the reveal - is the “mistake” of the defense lawyers that led to this revelation. I am not buying it. I don’t know what the strategy would be for leading such info - and who benefits (as it is hard to see how it could benefit Manafort in any way).

It doesn’t. Who do Manafort’s lawyers really work for?

It’s hilarious when Reps demur on answering a question, citing they are only willing to comment on matters they PERSONALLY have knowledge of and that affect them directly.

"I'm hungry, feel an impending bowel movement, and I have this damned ringing in my ears I really should have a doctor look at. Other than that I got nuthin'....."
