Discussion: GOP Rep. Says It's Hard To Know What Trump Wants When Negotiating

My, oh, my, this is such a surprise!

Rep. Brat, sorry to break the news to you, but Trump doesn’t know his own position or what he wants for most things. He’s immoral, amoral, unethical and, by the way, an empty vessel.

Trump’s position is to make himself the center of everyone’s universe, and to enrich himself and his family beyond even his wildest dreams. Got it?

Look ,everybody knows what the President’s and Congress’ goal in all of this is. Just undo everything the nigger did in the last 8 years and piss off as many minorities, lesbian Femi-Nazis and dirty fucking hippies as you can in the process. They should just put that in writing and be honest about it.

Right, a total d*ck.

It is SO HARD to know what Hair Furor wants, yet SO EASY to ignore what America wants.

You owe him nothing you reprehensible piece of waste. You work for US!

“But in this city, roughly’s not it. He’s big picture:”

“Big picture” is a nice euphemism for “uninterested simpleton”.

“Hard to Know What Trump Wants When Negotiating”.

That’s the way a con-man usually operates.

Master deal maker/negotiator, my ass.

He’s very good, but you don’t know what the deal is he’s got in his mind,

He has a functioning “mind”?

But we know what you want, Congressman.

“He’s very good, but you don’t know what the deal is he’s got in his mind,” Brat told New York Magazine about Trump’s negotiating style. “

It’s not a mystery, it’s a CON, dumbo.

That’s how I take this. He’s going out of his way to call Trump a big stupid-head. It’s part of his post-downfall survival kit. Drinking water, canned goods, radio and batteries, smirky before-the-fact put-downs, it’s all on the list.

“I mean, you know strategically, roughly, what he wants. But in this city, roughly’s not it. He’s big picture: ‘Look, repeal Obamacare, replace it with something that makes some sense.’ But then when you get down in the weeds in our conference, and the Senate hasn’t even weighed in yet … and he’s like, ‘Are you kidding, you guys are arguing over that? When this is the goal?’ And I think he’s amazed,” Brat told New York Magazine.
So it is news to POTUS that you can’t write a policy that says “replace with something that makes sense” and have it work. And it is news to the Congressman that POTUS is as haphazard in his negotiating as he is with policy making.
These guys won’t even follow a policy that suggests that they read the CBO report before passing a bill. Frankly, it seems a bit absurd to complain about the POTUS lack of policy sophistication when their own boils down to “do thinking people support this? Then let’s do away with it.”

He’s basically reiterating what Schumer said last week. Trump doesn’t know anything about the issues. He just wants a “win”…whatever that is.
