Casual racism aside Rep. Bost’s analogy is profoundly misleading. The victims of Cultural Revolution era public shaming were purged and ostracized before – in many cases – being executed. He’s a sitting member of Congress being held accountable by his own constituents. Entirely different matter.
I doubt the veracity of this story - I’m almost certain this guy has to be from Texas or Arizona.
There is one question I would like to see asked at every town hall, or to the cowards too afraid to have one: Sir (since they all seem to be male),with all due respect, I would like to ask you a personal question that I will preface by noting that you (and/or leaders in your party) have claimed that participants in these town halls are either bused-in paid agitators, reside outside your district or otherwise are not going to vote for you in any event. My question is, can you afford to be wrong about this? Yes or no answer please.
