Discussion: GOP Rep.’s Wife Slams Prostitution Claims Against Him As 'False Attacks'

"I want to be very clear that my campaign played absolutely no role in creating this story alleging Congressman Boustany’s sexual relationships with prostitutes that were later murdered, his staff’s alleged involvement in running the bar and hotel where this illicit behavior took place, or publishing the book Murder in the Bayou written by Ethan Brown and published by Simon and Schuster,” state Treasurer John Kennedy, a Republican, said in a statement obtained by the AP.

Nicely done, John.

Bridget Boustany may want to chat with Wendy (Baldwin) Vitters before offering too deep-throated of a defense of her hubby.

But they are just ramming this story down our throats!

Are wives of Republicans just so disgusted by their husbands that they can’t stand to have sex with them, or are Republican men unusually horny?

I know, I know. The answer is “yes.” But seriously, why do these horny-toads get all wrapped up in other people’s normal sex lives?

Standing by her man.

We need to remember that this is Louisiana, where things like this are just run-of-the-mill.

Whatever the facts, I think we can all agree this just feels like something a GOP legislator from Louisiana would do, so it’s open-and-shut, really.

John should also consider posting a link to the book on Amazon.

Brown also reported that former Boustany field director Martin Guillory ran a motel where some of the victims met clients, as BuzzFeed noted. Guillory told Brown he was not aware that any criminal activity took place there.

LOL I love how a couple of the GOPers are acting like they had no idea and are just shocked - SHOCKED, I tell you.
Please. These people all run in the same type of circles, gossiping and sharing stories. You can be sure when Boustany put his hat in the ring, folks were rushing to spill the tea on him.

C’mon. This is National Enquirer stuff. There is no ‘there there’ in this garbage. We fight against it for EVERYBODY or just turn over the discourse to yellow journalism.

Yes, just to make it absolutely crystal clear that he has had nothing to do with spreading those claims.
