Discussion: GOP Rep. On Meeting With Russian For Dirt: I 'Probably' Would Have Done Same

“I ‘Probably’ Would Have Done Same.”
– Ted Yoho, ®

And following his crime he probably would need to hire a Mafia lawyer just like Junior.

52 USC 30121, 36 USC 510: A foreign national shall not, directly or indirectly, make a contribution or a donation of money or other thing of value, or expressly or impliedly promise to make a contribution or a donation, in connection with any Federal, State, or local election.

I’m sensing a nascent fear among the handful of Congressional Trumpers, like cows sensing a mountain lion.

Ok, so we know he hates Hillary more than he loves America. Chalk another one in the “loathesone traitor” column.

What a yahoo.

By which he means that the entire Republican party is not to be trusted with the US democracy or its national security. They’d sell the country out in a heartbeat, if they thought they could personally profit in an election.

Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL) said Monday evening that he would have done the same as Donald Trump Jr.

Yes, but Ted Yoho (R-FL) is a certifiable idiot. He is a veterinarian elected to Congress by the Tea Party. He also said that Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) works for President Trump. He has little idea about how the government works or what the laws governing it are. He is one ho short of a bottle of rum.

Asked by Blitzer if Trump should have notified the FBI about the meeting at the time, Yoho said, “I think probably going forward that may be what happens…

I think going forward the NSA will know how many bowel movements several key people have every day, amongst a galaxy of other tidbits about their habits, contacts and conduct. They'll be finishing reading the last paragraph of that memo you're holding, before you do.

Another Florida Gooper just on CNN, excusing Jr. because “he was new to this and not an experience political operative - unlike the ones who worked for Hillary Clinton and colluded with the Ukranians.

“I think, personally, it would bring stability to the world markets,” said Rep. Ted Yoho (R-Florida), who argued in 2013 that refusing to raise the ceiling would show the U.S. was serious about addressing its debt.

So not only is Ted Yoho a traitorous asswipe, he’s also a fucking moron who understands less about economics and financial markets than I do about dog and cat innards.

Obviously the country wants their own to represent them.

Just the Republican part of the country. You know, the part that thinks college educations harm the country.

If nothing else, we should all be fully (and painfully) aware of how truly ignorant so many of our elected officials are. Oh sure, there was always Rick Perry, Scott Walker, Ron Johnson, and god knows how many House members - but now with the president and his family as example number 1, it’s really sinking in profoundly. Who wants some stinking over-educated egghead and his wonky concern for policy representing the people of this country? Obviously the country wants their own to represent them.

Yup. This is just whistling while walking past the cemetery after the sun’s gone down…

Yoho really is an ignorant, hypocritical idiot. One can only imagine his reaction if Clinton or Obama had pulled a stunt like this. As always, IOKIYAAR applies.

So this scumbag is admitting he is an unethical criminal. Awesome.

“I’m a slime-ball too!”

I’m sure you would.

Ted Yoho, patriot: “Russia, if you go back the last 50 to 100 years, they’ve always interfered and meddled . . . in elections." That’s why “I don’t think it was inappropriate for what he did.”

Ted Yoho, MacArthur Genius Grant: “you’re going to see Donald Trump probably be one of the most effective presidents we’ve ever had in this country.”

As Bobby Jindal so artfully stated, the GOP has to “stop being the stupid party.”

When Republicans circled the wagons around the Trump crime family they all became co-conspirators. They chose unwisely.
