Discussion for article #226070
Really, what do you say, outside of âplease continue sir, right up through the election.â
Although you have to wonder, considering his recent statements, would Rep. Brooks consider the Republicanâs Southern Strategy in the 1960s and 70s race baiting?
Shorter Brooks: âIt doesnât matter whether you are black or Hispanic or white â unless you want to vote, and then weâll want to see your ID, please.â
âŚand God, please let this doofus keep talking about "Democratic ârace-baitingâ until we get our country backâŚ
That isnât quite right ⌠tinker, tinker âŚ
âIâm one of those who thinks that it doesnât make any difference if youâre Hispanic, or youâre white, or youâre Asian, or youâre black, people throughout America want [clink, tinker, tap, tap, unscrew, replace, screw in, tighten, solder]
to be white or at least know whites know whatâs in the best interest of America.â
A bit better; more accurate, anyway. The brand new Fall 2014 line of Dem Embeds still have some bugs that need working out.
This Flaming Mo modelâs coming along nicely. Weâre especially pleased with the Sterling Hayden Plays Oblivious Southern White Supremacist detailing. And look at those wingnuts!
âIâm one of those who thinks that it doesnât make any difference if youâre Hispanic, or youâre white, or youâre Asian, or youâre black, people throughout America want to do whatâs in the best interest of America.â
First off, every bigot Iâve ever known starts off by saying something like "I donât care if youâre black, white or plaid [or some other odd color or combination thereof]
Second, some people think whatâs in the best interest of America is
-A universal right to vote
-An equal rights amendment reemphasizing a womanâs right to choose
-An end to corporate citizenship and religion
-A fair and open immigration policy
-Fair taxation to ameliorate extreme income inequality
-Aggressive support of pure and applied science in the interest of the public.
-Free Education for all
-Medicare for all
-Aggressive action against global climate disruption and other forms of air, soil and water pollution.
-Emphasis on developing solar energy
-Infrastructure improvement and renovation
-Mass transportation
-Elimination of urban sprawl
I could go on with lots of others; Iâve got a lot of good ideas about whatâs good for the United States.
AND
I donât know of a single Republican that espouses these values [or any married ones either].
(Hey Mo, hey Mo) hey Mo hey Mo
(Well nyuck nyuck nyuck nyuck) well nyuck nyuck nyuck nyuck
(We dee dee dee we dee dee dee) we dee dee dee we dee dee dee dee
(Oh, wise guy) oh, wise guy!
This guy is starting to remind me of Cliven Bundy.
I think the more attention he gets, the more louder he will get. The more he talks, the bigger possibility heâs going to step in it. Heâll get so comfortable with the slaps on the backs, attaboys and nods of agreement that heâll think EVERYone feels as he does. And then heâll slip.
What??? is this reverse psychology surrounded by a big spinning black hole that sucks in every speck of stupidity floating around in his universe? Gee WIZZZZZ
Wrenched Pubis to Mo:
Where are Larry and Curly ?
It is not race baiting. itâs the exact opposite. These people are just ignorant.
So, in short, dumb Republican politician is terribly racist and doesnât know what a common phrase means.
*âIâm one of those who thinks that it doesnât make any difference if youâre Hispanic, or youâre white, or youâre Asian, or youâre black, people throughout America want to do whatâs in the best interest of America.â
Utter Bullshitt
Must be opposite day in 'Bama today⌠cos those folks KNOW from real life race-baiting. George Wallace just sat up in his grave.
Seriously⌠this chucklehead is looking more like top of the ticket material than Carnival OR Loony GOMERt.
Mo has âThis Week in Stupid Talkâ sewed up. He is the TWIST bozo for this week.
Isnât Alabama one of the states so frightened of illegal immigrants that it pushed all the Latino crop pickers out of the state? Then it began whining there was nobody to pick the tomatoes?
The depressing thing is that olâ Mo represents probably the most highly-educated Congressional district in Alabama. Iâm glad I donât live in AL any more, but we seem to do a lot to earn the contempt with which weâre held by much of the country.
from Mo âdonât bait 'em, buy 'emâ Brooks
Reince Priebus to operatives: âCongressman Kurtz has gone off the reservation. Itâs time to send someone up country to shut his operation down.â
