Discussion for article #241250

You mean for telling the truth?

Of course Republicans would think that.

"“That’s an absolute inappropriate statement. It is not how this started. We wanted to get to the truth of it,”

Not how it started, but when you found no there, there it was why it continued to waste time and tax dollars.

My thoughts exactly. The dunce from Utah digs the hole deeper.

Well, Chaffetz, maybe the investigation didn’t START as a witch hunt against Hillary Clinton, but that sure as hell is what it’s become.

It stopped being a sincere search for the truth somewhere between investigations #2 and 7.

They got the truth, actually. The moment they got the truth, they ignored it and continued on their witch hunt.

Clinton’s camp needs to use all of it to make a ton of noise and control the narrative.

It is a scandal when a Republican tells the truth.

The knives are out before McDopey is holding the gavel. Should be quite a show from here on out.

This is the 8th Congressional hearing into Benghazi. They found out there was no there, there, and what actually happened after the 1st. The next 6 were to try and embarrass the President, this one was set up specifically to go on an indefinite fishing expedition precisely to damage Hillary in the public’s eyes, and for no other reason.

But, that being said, the fact that this guy is out saying McCarthy should walk it back is a pretty big indicator that they know McCarthy stepped in it big time.

Sad thing for these guys, is McCarthy promised to go on Hannity’s show at least once a month, so there will be plenty of this type of interviews where rest of the GOP tries in vain to walk back stupid crap that McCarthy says on those shows.

“More Wire Hangers” (R-Mormon Patriarchy) is just painful to watch as he tries to re-tube the toothpaste.

McCarthy’s unspeakerable but Wolf and Jason on screen together makes my TV cry…

The show continued as McCarthy delivered a foreign policy speech worthy of a Sarah Palin word salad. He’s been to Hungaria? For real?

“That’s an absolute inappropriate statement. It is not how this started. We wanted to get to the truth of it,” Chaffetz told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.

Not how it started. But it was a witch hunt after about 20 minutes.

And the apology should go something like this: “I’m sorry to those who were offended when I spoke the truth about the Benghazi investigation.”

And that douche should apologize to the head of PP and to all women for the treatment and rudeness they showed her. Republicans in office are rude and crude and just freaking insane

It’s really hard to see Chaffetz as the good guy here. But I do so like a good old fashioned knife fight. Popcorn, please.
