On the other: Pissant congresspersons who are terrified of trumpy’s pitchfork mobs and who are likely to personally believe the world is 6000 years old and that state mandated ultrasounds are morally consistent with “small government” principles.

It was a talking point concocted long ago to get around the truth ( that the Russians wanted Trump in office ) but acknowledge the undeniable ( that the Russians messed with the election ). It’s a dishonest statement given to him on a talking points memo. I’m surprised anyone in the media if giving this man’s attempted clean up any more credibility than the investigation itself.
