Later, Dent said that Trumpâs bombastic rhetoric in recent speeches and elsewhere â âwhether theyâre tweets or inappropriate statements coming from the Presidentâ â had been a severe distraction for legislators.
âThat just completely distracts us, and frankly itâs exhausting, Andrea. At times, we spend a good part of our day talking about those issues, rather than the issues we want to talk about,â he said.
And whose fucking fault is that? You and your ignominious GOP horde of fucking liars, bullshitters, grifters and enablers. (1)
(1) Maybe not Murkowski and Collins. Theyâre okay for now.
He added later that âmost Americans and certainly most Republicans want to see this President and this administration succeed, but there are times where we wish it get out of its own way.
Most Republicans may want him to succeed, but a majority of Americans want him gone, Charlie.
I donât know much about him but heâs not the worst of the worst. Represents a purplish district and is one of the rare few GOPers whoâll occasionally acknowledge some obvious reality like this.
Iâm at the point now where, when someone says âthat guyâs not the worst Republican out there,â I start to imagine a person whoâll knife you in the back, but will refrain from doing it on the Sabbath.
Thereâs Been âChaos And Instabilityâ In WH
Past tense?? I doubt itâs been corrected.
âWe need a fully focused, disciplined and engaged President to help advance a legislative agenda that will benefit the American people, particularly on tax reform and infrastructure.â
Thatâs a fair statement. The problem is where are we going to find one when the only option we have is Donald Trump. Silk purses are not made out of sowâs ears.
Or the gang member who says âOK, OK, guys, thatâs enough,â after theyâve been stomping you for a while.
âWe need a fully focused, disciplined and engaged President"
Sorry, everyone has been waiting for the pivot. Not going to happen. This is who your President is.
His Chinese manufactured âsilkâ ties are.
âNo WH chaos!.â We only eat American here.
âWe need a fully focused, disciplined and engaged President to help advance a legislative agenda that will benefit the American people, particularly on tax reform and infrastructure.â (PA Rep. Charlie Dent - Russia)
Well, then â you should have supported Hillary Clinton. We told you guys.
Charlie, Charlie, your Tuesday group is just as feckless and spineless as the WH is clueless. Donât throw stones, mmkay?
Mind if I steal that? I probably will anyway, but itâs polite to ask.
âAnd I hope the President grants him that authority and then respects that authority.â
Based on everything we know about the president*, the chances of the first happening are slim to none. The chances of the second are at or below zero. The only question is how long Kelly will put up with the daily humiliations.
âWell, itâs been pretty obvious to most of us that thereâs been a fair amount of chaos and instability in the White House, and dysfunction,â Dent told MSNBCâs Andrea Mitchell.
Not true! Not true! Thatâs FAKE NEWS!! Didnât you see this morningâs tweet, Chuck?
Things couldnât possibly be more tremendous. Itâs a finely tuned machine. Believe me.
I donât see how it matters whether Kelly is focused and disciplined if the person he reports to is not. It doesnât matter how much thought and effort go into a statement made by your press secretary when it is contradicted later that same day by a tweet from the president. No one is focused or disciplined enough to handle that particular problem without forcing the president to shut up, something he doesnât like to do. People like Dent are pretending and itâs dishonest and irritating.
He added later that âmost Americans and certainly most Republicans want to see this President and this administration succeedâŚ"
I'm unsure what information Dent uses making that assertion. I'd posit several million Democrats/Progressives/Liberals/Feminists/Independents would lose damned little sleep if every Republican drawing a breath dropped dead. Why would anyone welcome coexistence with vile, deplorable people? Is there any rational reason a single voter among the 63 million that cast their ballot for Trump should see him succeed in his stated policy goals? Certainly at minimum all those 63 million can experience the Rapture, right now please.
