Undoubtedly one of many who are actively considering what the hell they’ll do if tRump wins the nomination. For many, signing on will likely mean going down with the ship, and we know how they like to keep their positions of power. The GOP is imploding. “Jarvis, some more popcorn please, and a little less salt this time if you will.”

Why, why, WHY do ‘conservatives’ all seem to have Government pensions? Was the private sector just too ‘free market-y’ for them? This guy sounds like he has a military pension, a Federal pension and probably SS tucked in there somewhere. As a matter of principle shouldn’t he denounce and renounce them and pay for his own expenses? Thought so …

The fact that he has even the slightest inclination to vote for Trump is telling of the GOP mentality. Party above people. Power above reason. Control above freedom.
This guy is my congresscritter. He is one of those “compassionate conservatives,” which is of course an oxymoron. If he runs against Cuomo (who I basically can’t stand) I will vote for Cuomo and put a lawn sign in front of my house in my very Republican county. That’s how much I don’t want a Republican governor in New York.

He’s trying to be for the Republican front-runner even though he’s also against. Barack won his district easily last two times and Hillary carried it in 2006, having swept the state in 2000.
There’s no anointed Dem candidate right now with only one man having filed candidacy. Dems better get moving for the tasty potential pickup!
