Discussion for article #243050
(Checking this guyâs party)
Huh. Nice to hear that from the right side of the isle, even if itâs a lone voice in a crowd of fear mongers.
Never mindâsee yesterdayâs vote.
Except that his vote yesterday was xenophobic and knee-jerkâŚ
A very sane, well thought out sentiment. Whatâs he doing in the GOP?
A Republican, you say? Well, now, thereâs a breath of fresh air.
He must not be interested in reelection.
âThey shall be known by their fruitâ â
He cannot be a republican. Not even a RINO.
He is way too logical.
Okay, I was wrong, he was against it before he was for it.
So, what was the speech for if you know you would vote for the legislation anyway ?
That doesnât make sense, does it?
Canât un-ring that bell.
Minority Leader Pelosi knows she has weaklings in the Democratic caucus who cannot be bold in the face of an election year and said this to them. So this guy from OK however worthy his background gave a good speech but voted yes. Clearly he meant nothing he said. You simply canât fight emotion with facts.
Iâve said to them from the start, âNobodyâs asked you to do anything. Do whatever works for you, for your district,ââ said Nancy Pelosi of California, the House minority leader, who voted against the bill.
These social media induced frenzies are taking us down a path once forged by a bad Austrian watercoloristâŚ
He may be sane but he still voted yes, so what happened was he gave a nice speech, full of sound and fury signifying nothingâŚ
Cowardice?
Republicans propose to make one lilâ change to the Statue of Liberty and all it has ever stood for.

That crown makes a killer shurikenâŚ
I have one question for this GoPerâŚwhy are you a ÂŽ thinking like that?
It would seem he wants to play both sides by giving this great speech and then voting opposite of his speech. Non-the-less it was a good speech.
So, what about his vote? What is he really saying and for what purpose? Saying one thing and doing another.
Nice speech. Is it true he voted for the bill passed yesterday?
