There aren’t words for how much this pisses me off. This is the reality of life as a federal worker for as long as the Republican Party of Newt persists. You wait for the next time they throw a tantrum and fuck you for political gain.

And I don’t see it changing any time soon. Someday there will again be a right-of-center party in this country which makes at least a token good-faith effort to do its job, but I don’t know how we get there from here.

Keep in mind that the “Party of Personal Responsibility” still has control of all three branches of government and still can’t find the ability or wherewithal to govern. They are akin to Trump in that all of these miscreants, major and minor, seem to think that as long as you yield the power, everything else will take care of itself. My daughter works for the National Park Service. None of her colleages blame the Dems. They blame the GOP and their chief organ grinder.

Is Roberts suggesting that Dems are so stupid that they’ll agree to a wall as long as it isn’t called a wall, or is he acknowledging that the president has no actual reasons for what he does and will sign anything that allows him to pretend that he won?

During this year’s election, there were literally thousands of migrants walking toward our Southern border. He used their presence to manufacture a crisis at the border in order to turn out his voters. He most likely won’t get better optics than the ones he had this year, but guess what? It didn’t work at all and may have even backfired profoundly, so good luck with that in 2020 when the issue will be even more stale than it was this year.
